Blue Nest Penthouse is a three-bedroom holiday property, perched at the very top of the Blue Nest luxury building in the quiet village of Pointe d’Esny. It features two terraces, with one facing the beautiful beach named after the village. From the indoor area, guests are privy to the uninterrupted view of the Indian Ocean. Sunbathe, chat, have barbecue parties in the terrace/balcony area with the gorgeous backdrop; any family activities taking place here will be very memorable.
If you want to eat out, you have the option to drive south to Blue Bay, where there are plenty of restaurants and beach clubs you can buy meals from, and also enjoy the vibe from the nearby beach. Alternatively, you can go to Mahebourg, where you have more dining options and also tourist attractions, like Mahebourg Museum and Pointe Canon. Whichever way you choose to go, Blue Nest Penthouse is the perfect place for you and the family to stay.
The luxurious penthouse offers three bedrooms, wonderfully styled in a coastal-minimalist way. The rooms’ colour palette draws inspiration from hues naturally found on the beach. The spacious king beds are fitted with top quality linen. Other furnishings include ample wardrobe spaces and air conditioner, to make you sleep more comfortably. One bedroom is located across the guest bathroom. Meanwhile, the master bedroom has an attached ensuite and also direct access to the balcony facing the beach.
As you walk upstairs to the penthouse, you will enter the road-facing balcony that houses a semi-covered lounge area. At the back is what’s considered to be the penthouse’s main verandah. It is covered from direct sunlight by movable partition walls on both sides. What’s left is the panoramic, movie-like view of the beach in front of them. The verandah can hold an alfreco dining table that seats eight people, a couple of long lounge chairs plus a small coffee table and barbecue equipment. If you want to enjoy the sun, you can walk out to the penthouse’s second balcony ahead and lie down on one of the sun loungers. You can walk downstairs and visit the complex’ common garden area to let the kids run around for some time, or teach them to play petanque on the designated pitch by the well-manicured lawn.
As you walk into the Blue Nest penthouse, you will be greeted by the sight of the spacious dining area. It consists of a dining table that accommodates eight people, sitting on a timber floor. The pergola roofing gives some shade, while still letting some healthy natural light in. Continuing on, you will see the well-equipped modern kitchen on the right hand side of the joint area, with an island countertop, housing three barstools. There is an additional bar table that faces the window. On the left is the living area, furnished with a large plush sofa, a coffee table and a flat screen TV.
Complimentary wifi is available for use on the property. Housekeeping services come every 3 days are included in the stay package. There are extra amenities offered, such as meals cooked by the villa’s appointed chef and massage sessions, at an extra cost. There is a washing machine and ironing equipment, so you can do somelight laundry during your stay. You are able to park your rental car in the reserved off-road parking spot.
You have direct access to Pointe d’Esny Beach, where you and your family can enjoy swimming, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding in its crystal-blue water. The Blue Nest Penthouse, part of the Blue Nest building, is only a twenty-minute car ride away from the international airport. If you want to enjoy the more eclectic beachside atmosphere, a few minutes’ drive south will bring you to Blue Bay Beach, with its many beach clubs and restaurants, like Blue Bamboo and The Spot Cafe. If you want to see more historical attractions, head north to Mahebourg.
