Located across one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius, Villa Fayette sur Mer is set in a cosy, two-storey establishment that overlooks the ocean. This villa is found in the village of Poste Lafayette, not far from the historical hub of Maheboug. With plenty of room for groups, this villa boasts a distinctive Mauritian architecture and a generously-sized tropical garden, perfect for taking in the sun. Best of all, you only have to cross the garden to find yourself on one of the most sought-after bathing spots on the island.
Villa Fayette sur Mer offers a total of four bedrooms to sleep up to eight guests. To ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible during your holidays, all the four bedrooms are equipped with air-conditionning units and feature their very own en-suite bathrooms.
While the master bedroom is found on the ground floor, the three guest rooms are located on the first floor. The four rooms feature a double bed each, and in the master bedroom, you will even find a safe where you can keep your valuable items or documents during your holiday in Mauritius.
The expansive grounds of Villa Fayette sur Mer feature a beautifully manicured garden that opens directly onto one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. In the garden, you will also find a large private swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a long day. Several sun beds have also been arranged around the pool, but if you want to enjoy a blissful nap in the outdoors, there’s also a day-bed that has been set up in the shade of lush, swaying trees.
Thanks to the seafront sitting nook that has been set up in the garden, guests of the villa can simply sit back and relax as they take in mesmerizing sunsets every day. And of course, if you want to go for a plunge in the ocean, the turquoise lagoon is literally on your doorstep.
On the first floor of the villa, there’s a small albeit functional kitchenette that’s quite close to the guest bedrooms, perfect for grabbing a snack or drink in the middle of the night. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living room, perfectly furnished with an oversized couch and a decorative fireplace. The living room opens directly onto the garden, providing unblemished views of the ocean. This room is also equipped with a leather sofa and opens directly into a cozy dining area that features a teak table.
There’s also a fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances, amenities, crockery and cutlery that you will need to prepare your meals. You will also find a second lounge on the first floor of Villa Fayette sur Mer, complete with flat-screen television and satellite channels.
To ensure that you don’t have to muck around with tedious housework during your vacation, Villa Fayette sur Mer offers the services of- not one- but two housemaids who will show up every day to take care of the general maintenance and cleaning of the villa. A gardener is also available to tend to the grounds, ensuring that your garden is always well-kept.
Villa Fayette sur Mer is found in the sunny village of Poste Lafayette, which is not far from the capital city of Port Louis. This particular city is especially known for its extensive shopping opportunities which include street vendors and a sprawling outdoors market with just about every kind of souvenir you can think of. Port Louis is also home to Le Caudan Waterfront, an oceanfront shopping mall that features a diverse food court, branded boutiques, jewellery shops, restaurants, cinemas and even a casino.
