Nestled in the village of Santa Margalida is the 1-bedroom Sa Caseta de Vernissa. Designed with 2 bedrooms, it can sleep 4 guests, and there’s much going for this villa that guests would come to be pleasantly surprised. The villa is off to a great start with its large plot of outdoor land that consists of a lovely terrace complete with a large enough private swimming pool and sun loungers. The actual view and size of this property has been cleverly shielded by the front of its cute design, and which the outdoors only open up as soon as you step foot into the property to the back of the main house. Its interior is based on a one-storey layout and it does well to accommodate all of the spaces and facilities expected of a pretty villa as this.
Though only equipped with 1 bedroom for this villa, however it mightily sleeps up to 4 people maximum. The actual room is fitted with a double bed while the 2 other guests can occupy a wooden double-decker that consists of 1 upper bunk and 1 lower bunk, which has a unique wooden stairway connection instead of the usual vertical steps. This space is also fitted with a side couch sofa for guests to lounge away.
The outdoors of Villa Sa Caseta de Vernissa consists of a gleaming swimming pool on a stone-paved terrace that is lined with sun beds for guests to lie on after a swim or dip, or just simply relaxing with a book and glass of wine in hand. Around it are tall palm trees and fir trees that surround its perimeters. Not-to-be-missed is the lovely and charming alfresco dining spot with colored garden benches and tables to chill on, and an outdoor barbeque pit to make use of and certainly lends an Instagrammable backdrop for guests to pose and take pictures with. Completing the outdoors is an elevated balcony-like space with more sun beds for guests to rest on and chill under the sunny skies.
Step into its charming interiors that are spick-and-span, dressed up in simple minimalist style and which guests will be pleasantly greeted by the breezy and bright interiors thanks to the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors fitted throughout. On one end near the studio bedroom is where the living room is, complete with a fireplace to boot. On the other end is the dining space that sits just across from the vitroceramic open-plan kitchen with tiled kitchen top as its surface and equipped with amenities to cook with.
There is free parking on the property grounds and complimentary WiFi Internet for guests. Bed linens and towels are changed every 7 days while guests who require cots or cribs for their toddlers can request from the service personnel at additional nominal charges.
From the villa, guests can explore the town of Santa Margalida which houses a renowned parish church and overlooks superb countryside views. Boasting an abundance of rolling plains and fields, this town certainly lives up to its agricultural billing and what better place to source for some fresh local produce and to check out the Santa Margalida food market too. Also worth checking out is some of the nightlife entertainment that enlivens this tranquil neighbourhood, or other arts and entertainment venues further away such as Menestralia and Zarzales for a start.
