Villa Nelia, your home away from home, sits in 20 hectares of Mediterranean gardens in the heart of Mallorca, between picturesque towns of Moscari and Selva, offering sweeping views of Alcudia Bay and the Tramuntana mountains. Designed with elegant taste, the property is classy and modern, exuding excellence and great taste. Great attention has been given to every detail of the villa, creating a unique harmony of Mallorcan architecture and Dutch interior design.
This contemporary home consists of 5 lovely bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an open living area, cinema room, living room, open plan dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, swimming pool, shared tennis court, vast Mediterreanean garden, barbeque room with wooden oven, vast terrace and many more, ideal for large groups holiday together as it can accommodate up to 10 persons. This property is a gem for enjoying the surrounding nature of Mallorca but not very suitable for those looking to be by the beach, as it is around 30 minutes to the closest beach.
There is a path that connects this property to the adjacent Villa Palmira, that would make it perfect for two families travelling together or large groups or hosting parties. The two villas are far enough apart that you will have privacy, yet close enough to meet and socialize together.
All the 5 lovely bedrooms are spread across two floors. There are 2 masterbedrooms each on the ground floor and first floor. .
The ground floor houses the first masterbedroom, a spacious en-suite comes with a huge comfortable bed, large walk-in wardrobe and private access to the patio area through a row of two panel glass doors and two other en-suite bedrooms which has two single beds with one of them also having access to the patio.
The upper floor houses a further masterbedroom with an en-suite shower room, large walk-in wardrobe as well as large plush king bed. There are also two more bedrooms available, both of which are equipped with ultra comfy single beds.
Amidst the vast outdoor spaces is a stunning private pool, surrounded by an amazing terrace filled with unique, contemporary furniture where you can relax and sunbathe. The large well-maintained garden makes a great spot for early mornings or evening strolls, taking in a bit of nature. Take a quick nap on the plush daybed under the pergola. Gather the group together and have some fun-time grilling meats on the barbecue. You can also try your hands at baking pizzas in the wooden oven. For those into tennis, there is a tennis court to sweat it out, which is shared with neighbouring Villa Palmira.
Upon entrance you'll be greeted by a large entrance hall which leads into a beautiful living room lovingly furnished with ultra comfy sofas, satellite tv and access to a spacious terrace with a dining and seating area, an excellent place for an evening aperitif or to dine al-fresco while watching the sunset in the horizon.The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, grill, kettle, kitchen utensils, oven, refrigerator, toaster and more. A cosy open plan dining area that sits 10 is not too far away where meals can be enjoyed.
There is a games room, billiard table, cinema room with 4k projector to keep the entire group entertained. An open seating area with access to the patio is great for after meals relaxation. Children will also be entertained as there are plenty of spaces to play both inside and outside. During winter the property’s under floor heating will keep you warm and cozy.
The villa’s friendly staff will go a little bit further for their guests by helping to arrange extras like maid service/extra cleaning, private chef/cook/catering, welcome hamper/pre-stocked fridge, local day-trips or tours, airport transfers and babysitting/ child care services, to make it a truly memorable holiday. However, note that these extra services do come with additional costs.
There is much to do around Villa Nelia. Take a slow stroll to Moscari which is the nearest village to experience the local lifestyle. Should you need to stock up on pantry supplies head to Supermercat Aprop about 3 kms away. If you feel like dining out at the nearest restaurant, Es Parc Restaurant for tantalising contemporary cuisine while the nearby Aires de Muntanya is great for after dinner drinks.
The San Pobla area is a wonderful place to wander around, surrounded by small pretty streets, traditional Mallorcan shops selling mouth-watering fresh produce and local crafts and at the heart of its all, the lovely old quarters giving the place its special ambience.As the pace of life is relaxed, you can take your time to explore the area stopping for con leche at the many cafes or bars or indulge in tasty traditional Mallorcan delights in one of the town’s family-run restaurants. For those into culture and history, the museum together with a local parish offers insights into the town’s fascinating history. If you visit during the weekends, drop by at the local Sunday market which takes place at the town square. For those travelling with children, a visit to the town’s toys and games museum will certainly keep them occupied throughout. Within the vicinity is a beautiful countryside to explore. Being near to the coast means you can visit delightful beaches towards the north of the town in Port d’ Alcudia and Can Picafort. The renowned nature park at S’Albufera is also worth the visit.
