Quality is never an accident. It is the result of careful planning, hard work, and attention to detail. You will find a classic example of this in the Carrubo House, a small 2-bedroom rental property in Sicily. Once a traditional stone farmhouse in the countryside, it is now a lavish home where the guests can have a wonderful time surrounded by hills and valleys. Completely renovated, Carrubo House still retains its traditional stone façade, tiled roofing, and old-world charm. The interior has antique furnishings and a wooden-beamed ceiling, which will transport you back by several decades. You will also find many new amenities, fixtures, and fittings, which will ensure a luxury holiday on the island.
The property is a part of a residential community, which is nice for guests who want to enjoy the facilities that only a community can offer, and yet stay away from large hotels and resorts where there is no privacy. There are seven elegant apartments in the complex, so the community never gets too crowded. The per-person space here is huge. You will also be surrounded by an 18-hectare nature park where there is a lot of greenery.
It is an apartment with 2 bedrooms for 5 guests. You can stay here as a family, as two couples, or as a small group of friends. The house is built over one single level, which ensures that all the guests will stay close by during their holiday. You don’t have to climb any stairs, much to the relief of the aged guests and those with mobility issues.
The first bedroom has a double bed for two. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the living room for the third guest. The parents can stay in the bedroom while a caregiver or the traveling maid can sleep on the sofa bed. The second bedroom has twin beds, which is good for two young children. There are two bedrooms in the apartment. One has a shower and the second has a bathtub.
The exterior area of Carrubo House is a world of peace and calm, thanks to the 18-hectare nature park that surrounds the property. Here, you will find rolling hills and valleys, where there are olive groves and many ancient trees. Explore the landscape on foot. Rent a bike if you want. The trails and paths are lined by typical low stone walls of the island.
The common areas include a large infinity pool that hangs at the edge of a cliff. Swim up to the edge for a fascinating view. The view is gorgeous even from the sunny pool terrace. You will find several loungers with pergolas here. On the other side, there is a small lawn and garden. Carrubo House also has a small courtyard with a seating area.
The house measures 110 square meters. Its ground floor has one large room where you will find both the lounging and dining areas and also the kitchen. The living area has a large L-shaped sofa. The 6-sitter dining table is placed just behind this. Next to the table, you will find a kitchen with many appliances, pots, pans, tableware, and glassware. A door from this room opens to a terrace where there is a small table with chairs. The terrace offers panoramic views of hills and greenery.

Discreet and efficient, they will assist you to schedule your trip and arrange pick-up from the airport. Bed linen and bath towels will be changed once a week. The bedrooms and bathrooms will also be cleaned. For an extra charge, you can hire a chef, a babysitter, and a masseur.
Carrubo House is close to the southernmost edge of Sicily. Both rocky and sandy beaches are nearby. From your apartment, you can visit several historic and interesting cities like Ragusa, Syracuse, Noto, and even Taormina. The landscape around the apartment is perfect for a serene and laid-back holiday. But if you want, you can fill your days with various activities. There is a golf course, a tennis club, and a horse riding school just a short drive away.
