Located in a serene location that count as one of the aspects in enabling the property to be more spectacular than it already is, Villa Lavacchio 16 welcomes guests with some of the best interior and exterior that they have seen, thanks to the resourceful and creative owner who is a renowned Italian architect and interior designer. By taking pains to restore the villa in total respect to traditional Tuscan architecture and to furnish it with some of his own personally-designed furniture as well as antique pieces, guests will certainly be inspired by all that is glamorous about this villa that warrants it being featured in many interior magazines. Some of the most outstanding views also await guests such as those of Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi that are regarded to be among the beautiful parts of Tuscany. Consisting of a main stone farmhouse and a guesthouse, it is designed with 8 bedrooms for 16 guests.
Built with 8 sumptuous bedrooms to boot, they sleep up to 16 guests in total. There are 3 rooms which are fitted with double beds that are 4-poster types, while the remaining 5 rooms have 2 single beds or twin beddings each. Its first double bedroom is equipped with a luxurious ensuite bathroom that comes with a freestanding bathtub, yet all rooms are prized for their lavish interiors and rich furnishings that truly makes guests’ stay here a memorable one to relish.
The sprawling outdoor groundsis enchanting for its grassy lawn, its tall pine trees, and unobstructed countryside views that pan out just across and over the horizon - all within which houses a sheltered alfresco dining spot with its rustic put-together of an outdoor dining table and chairs, and the azure swimming pool that beckons for a good dip or swim. For guests who do not wish to get wet, they can always chill away or have a nap time on the sundeck chairs that line both sides of the pool. Extended paved terrace wraps the sides of the home which is also decked with sun loungers at guests’ disposal.
Step inside and guests will be greeted by a large living hall that is furnished with couch sofas, coffee tables and other furniture of value, a bookshelf and an indoor fireplace that all make this space simply irresistible not to spend time in. Separated by an arch opening is the main dining hall with its solid long wooden table with chairs, while enhanced by thoughtful furniture placed around the nooks and corners of this section. The fully-equipped kitchen is fitted with contemporary cabinets and a slab of marble surface top, complemented by a smaller dining area for guests who can choose to also have their meals here. Two doors installed here open out to an outdoor courtyard that features the alfresco dining spot for guests.
Guests have complimentary Wifi Internet for use throughout, while the staff carries out housekeeping services and can be sought for other additional add-ons or requests including air-conditioning, heating that is chargeable based on consumption, and baby chairs or baby cots for young toddlers.
Villa Lavacchio 16 is located just a few kilometers from the village of Montalcino, an area renowned for its excellent wine production and which guests have the opportunity to arrange for tours to some of the surrounding wine estates to have wine tasting sessions. Just a 5-minute drive or 3.5km distance away is the famous Castello Banfi, where guests can visit cellars and hamlets, do more wine tasting or check out its must-try balsamic vinegar. The location of the villa is also ideal for sightseeing at some of the well-known Tuscan villages and towns like Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona and San Gimignano.
