If you are looking at home with a difference then Casa Bernardino might be the perfect choice. Sitting on the site of an ancient Roman home, it feels like you’ve taken a step back in time as part of the original structure and feature is still intact like the original walls and cave found on the ground floor. It features among others 4 spacious bedrooms which sleep up to 9 people, 4 bathrooms one of which can be accessed through the kitchen, extensive outdoor spaces, outdoor dining, heated hydro massage tub and stylish modern kitchen. This stunning home offers more than what you’ve bargained for - modern design, extensive spaces and breathtaking sea-front views across the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesavius yet will close distance to modern conveniences offered by the seaside town of Sorrento.
The elegantly designed 4 bedrooms set over two floors are modern, bright and spacious, with neutral colors and whitewashed walls making it calming and ideal for ultimate relaxation.
Bedroom one, a junior suite is air-conditioned and beautifully furnished with a double bed, single bed, TV and walk-in wardrobe - perfect for parents with younger children needing attention, is located on the ground floor of the home. A French window opens up to the beautiful garden. The room can be accessed via a small studio or directly from the garden.
An open staircase connects the rest of the home to the upper floors where the remaining 3 bedrooms sit. Bedroom 2 comes with a four-poster bed, air-con, satellite TV, walk-in wardrobe and access to the private terrace where you can enjoy views of Vesuvius and the sea. The bathroom is fitted with high quality fixtures like double sinks and rain shower for your comfort. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, safe, air-con, walk-in wardrobe, TV as well as access to your very own private balcony while Bedroom 4 comes with a plush double bed, air-con, TV, walk-in wardrobe and standard bathroom facilities.

There is also an exercise area within the garden, with a solarium for relaxation. Rejuvenate your aching body in the heated hydro massage tub. While the lovely pergola with dining table guarantees a romantic al-fresco experience with fantastic views. The open terrace which sits right at the bottom of the garden is ideal to end the night under the stars.
Enjoy your meals in the cozy dining room which is comfortably set up with a dining table and chairs for 8. A fireplace makes it even cosier especially on cooler evenings. The balcony terrace adjacent to the dining area, has a small table and chairs is just perfect for unwinding on warm summer nights, overlooking the garden and sea, adding to a sense of romance. The open staircase provides access to the lounge on the upper level where you can sink back into one of the comfy sofas and chill out by watching movies on the flat screen tv or simply sit back and take in the amazing sea views from the balcony. Meanwhile, the fully-equipped contemporary kitchen has everything you need for meals preparation from cutleries to top of the range appliances and utensils. There is also a breakfast bar in the kitchen for those quick meals while the French window opens up to the garden.

Casa Bernardino enjoys a privileged locality, overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Take a slow stroll into the heart of Sorrenta old town lined with shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and historical spots, a few hundred meters away. Marvel at historical architecture sites like the 14th century church of Chiesa San Francisco (440m). Check out the town’s most famous square, Piazza Square (350 m). Sorento is also known as the base for walking and hiking through Lattari Mountain (17Km), which lies close to the Sorrentine peninsula. The popular site of Pompelli which is about 45 minutes drive is a must-visit, where you can visit what is left of the city after the still active Mount Vesuvius erupted 2000 years back. It also features many well-preserved ruins. In addition, just over an hour, you can reach Mount Vesvius offering dramatic walks and views. The Sorrenta train station is approximately 500 meters from the villa where you can easily catch a ride to Naples, the gastronomical centre which is about (49 kms) as well as other parts of the country. Finally, head to Amalfi Coast (35km) to enjoy sandy beaches and a range of water sports for the entire family.
