Cascade Creek Retreat is a classic 2 bedroom log cabin located in the countryside outside of Dunedin. Conveniently furnished to accommodate up to 6 guests, the cabin overlooks beautiful views of its surrounding greenery and rolling hills filled with wildlife. Spend a romantic getaway with your loved one or a quiet family holiday in the comfortable homey cabin soaking up nature and exploring the grounds. With a modern kitchen, al fresco dining and a cosy living area, you can enjoy a homey relaxing holiday with your friends and family in the country hideaway.
Both of the bedrooms within Cascade Creek Retreat are quaint and comfortable encompassed in wood and cosy furnishings. The first bedroom is situated on a mezzanine overlooking the living room, furnished with a super king size bed and windows looking out to the wooded surroundings. Providing the perfect setting for a relaxing night’s sleep, you can enjoy the sound of nature in the evenings as you drift off.
The second bedroom is also furnished with a super king size bed that can be arranged into 2 singles upon request. Located just off of the living area, it is the perfect setup for families travelling with children. Additionally, a third queen size ‘wall bed’ is available in the living room which can provide an extra place to rest at night but can be tucked away during the day to allow space. A shared bathroom is fitted with modern facilities including a rain shower.
The cabin terrace overlooks the outstanding scenery and gardens whilst providing a place to relax and unwind. Furnished with an al fresco dining table, comfortable armchairs and a large BBQ, you can enjoy spending time with your loved ones in the clean atmosphere over delicious meals and watching the sunset.
A truly unique highlight of Cascade Creek Retreat are the 2 bathtubs located in the garden. The rustic tubs are situated side by side overlooking the breathtaking views of the hills and landscape. For a romantic activity with your partner, you can enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the sunset from the warm, relaxing tubs.
The open plan living areas in Cascade Creek Retreat boast a comfortable living area with a wood burning fireplace, dining table and fully equipped kitchen. You and your family will enjoy spending cosy nights in the front of the fire reminiscing on your day’s activities and planning for tomorrow. Play games and listen to your favourite music on the stereo system.
You can prepare your own homemade meals in the kitchen with local produce, and sip wines from the nearby wineries or opt for one of the Stay and Dine packages where a professional chef will cater your holiday. Providing a relaxing, comfortable setting for the ideal family holiday you will be able to spend quality time with your loved ones creating many happy memories.
