As a most authentic Tuscan farmhouse with its expansive and immense interiors that are only heightened by its masterful and exquisite design featuring splashes of stone-built walls, wooden ceiling beams, cotto floors, and some of the most classic and prized furniture that adorn the spaces throughout. While surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, guests will be also be awed by the varied spots of the outdoors where guests could laze themselves around the large swimming pool or the spacious terrace equipped with wooden oven. When it comes to Villa Giannello, choosing whether to be cocooned indoors or nestled outdoors can prove to be challenging given the visual feast of both sides - but whatever one decides, it will only be spectacular.

Step outside the villa and guests will be most impressed by the private and large swimming pool measuring 12m X 6m that has been installed with a salt water system and is set in one of the most breathtaking positions overlooking the Lucca countryside made up of olive groves and vineyards. Just in front of the property, guests have at their disposal a spacious and well-covered terrace area that is perfect for alfresco dining, with an authentic wood oven that guests can also make use of with the help of the house manager.
Built over 2 floors, the entire architecture and design of the villa has been restored with full respect to the local Tuscan tradition, which includes elements like the antique wooden beam ceilings and cotto floors present in most rooms. It exceptionally showcases the best example of a stone-based and built property, starting with the large sitting room that was conceived in an old cellar and features a large screen television, and the equally large dining room as well as the kitchen with a fireplace to boot.

Villa Giannello is located nearest to the town of Matraia that is just 0.1km, while the main city of Lucca is only about 13km. This property is also an ideal base for guests to make their way to visit some of the most beautiful and historical villas of which this part of the Lucchese countryside is known for. One of these villas is Villa Reale, where Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister Elisa who is also Princess of Lucca resided. For some bakery needs or dining out options, there is also a bread shop and a restaurant conveniently located between 1km and 1.5km away.
