A delightful haven in central Italy, Villa La Macchia lies on a picturesque 6000 hectare estate in Umbria. This family villa has been meticulously restored right from the ruins of a medieval historic church. Despite its rustic architecture, this generously-sized villa provides contemporary luxurious amenities, ideal for family getaways or fun vacations with your friends and colleagues. This villa can very easily accommodate up to six guests.
There are three bathrooms and three bedrooms at Villa La Macchia. Fully air-conditioned, all three bedrooms boast King-beds, luxe lines, as well as en-suite bathrooms with showers, WC, sinks, and basic toiletries. The bedrooms additionally provide ample closet space for storing your belongings, as well as oversized windows so you can soak up the lush vistas right from your bed.
Outside, a 13m x 5m heated infinity pool beckons, perfect for a refreshing plunge before starting your day. You can savor your meals in the dining room with a wooden table and ample seats to accommodate all the guests.
With free Wifi, Villa Ma Macchia offers a host of amenities to ensure that their holiday in Italy goes off without a hitch. As such, you will enjoy a satellite TV connection as well as an assortment of DVDs for those quiet evenings in. The estate caretaker is also present on-site to help you with anything that you may need during your stay. Guests will undoubtedly relish in the barbecue equipment, perfect for when you want to enjoy a grilled feast right in the intimacy of your villa. Adults and kids alike will appreciate the table tennis facilities. While these are included in your package, Villa La Macchia can arrange for extra services upon request. These include maid services, private on-site chef, airport pickup and drop-off, babysitting, day trips or tours as well as a welcome hamper and a pre-stocked fridge upon arrival.
Around Villa La Macchia, guests will find a host of golfing, fishing, and hiking opportunities. If you would like to stock up on produce for your kitchen, you can always check out the local supermarket in Umbertide, located a mere eight kilometers away. A bit further away is found Perugia, the vibrant capital that’s dotted with lively bars, local restaurants, and plenty of charming little shops. If you’re visiting in the summer, you can always head over to the nearby Tiber River, a pretty town that hosts yearly jazz festivals.
