Shielded from prying eyes with its exclusive built-up high above a flight of stone steps where tall trees provide the perfect shade and shelter, Villa Sa Punta de Sa’Aguila in the Son Bunyola estate is a dream vacation home for guests. Its name romantically conjures up the definition of ‘Eagle’s Point’, and is located just above the coastline of this estate in the northwest corner of Mallorca. This sprawling accommodation is designed with 5 bedrooms and can sleep 10 guests, which makes it the largest property on the estate. The architecture smacks of traditional Mallorcan style and nuances with exposed beam ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. Great colours and rustic indoors are matched by equally stunning beauty and vistas all around this coast, mountainous terrain and nature that bestows upon this land.
The 5 bedrooms at Villa Sa Punta de Sa’Aguila are elegant and spacious - with the largest size being a good 30 sq meters. The rooms have a magnetic aura about them, with bespoke furnishings and personalized layout that is unique to each. Located over 3 levels of the villa, some of the rooms feature an adjoining living room of its own or an extra dimension of space that guests could just lounge around, giving a good indication of what you can come to expect of the rooms’ sizes. 3 of the rooms are fitted with king-sized double beds while another 2 can be configured with the choice of either king-sized or twin bedding. What’s similar for all the rooms are the ensuite bathrooms that come with each, Bose speakers, a complimentary selection of the finest toiletries, and the ultimate bonus of their respective terrace yards with furniture to hang out by.
The villa boasts a large outdoor courtyard and terrace area, being a favorite and much-loved spot among guests for hosting parties, socialising and entertaining over sunset cocktails and evening dinners. Stylish rattan lounge sofas dot a corner of this area which are perfect for chilling out against the gorgeous backdrop of the stunning sea and greenery, while the dining table furniture set with rattan chairs complement the entire scene ensconced within stone pillars under the night skies. Completing this outdoor set-up is the heated 15m private pool with its turquoise waters that beg for a swim or dip, with properly-lined sunbeds and green lawn.
The indoors are spacious and vast with lots of communal spaces built around for great conversations and relaxing vacation! Stylishly and tastefully furnished, the living hall is designed with comfortable plush sofas with a fireplace, while exposed beam ceilings and terracotta tiled flooring feature prominently too. The dining area and kitchen feel equally proportionate and conjure a homey vibe thanks to the use of dark solid wood for all the kitchen cabinets and drawers and dining table fit for 10 pax.
