A four-bedroom luxury chalet in the Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, Chalet Schlumatt is ideal for a family holiday in the Swiss mountains. Overlooking the Matterhorn Peak, the chalet is only a few minutes’ walk from the main Klein Matterhorn ski lift. It has been designed in true Swiss style with oak and stone featuring exquisite views of the snowy landscape. It’s located on the third floor with elevator access. Luxurious comforts include a fully-equipped kitchen, open fire in the lounge and a stunning terrace for outdoor recreation.
There are four bedrooms at Chalet Schlumatt—one with a double bed and ensuite bathroom and three with double/twin beds and two shared bathrooms. You will find balcony access from a few bedrooms while others have large windows that reveal a gorgeous view. The log cabin inspired interiors with all wooden architecture, Christmas-inspired bedding, and warm lighting all create a lovely, homely atmosphere perfect for a good night’s rest.
The lush slopes of the Matterhorn are visible from the balcony—a truly mesmerising view right from Chalet Sclumatt. You can spend hours outdoors breathing in the fresh air and taking in the expansive views. The balcony has outdoor furniture so you have a pretty comfortable vantage point. Head to the ski lifts for a day on the slopes or take leisurely walks around the village for good measure.
