Villa Temoyong

We took advantage of the long Merdeka weekend to go to Langkawi. Well what can I say..this place is simply fabulous. Firstly, the location is simply unique..nestled amongst the jungle it also has a good view of the sea and we were able to see the sun set from our villa(Temoyong).Secondly, food here is also tastfully done and one may also order roomservice(we had our breakfast at our villa). Our kitchenette is seperate from our room and is well equiped( there is a fridge, microwave oven, oven and kitchen utensils). The pool is big enough to do some mini laps and is also well maintaned.Thirdly, all the staff here is well trained and give service with a smile..they are very helpful and are precious asset to the establishment. We also had dinner(on one of our nights here) by our private pool and food was simply great. Ambong-ambong Pool Villas proved to be a pleasant surprise and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this place again if we happen to be in the vicinity. A definite 5 stars.

What can I say, just amazing! The location, the staff, the villas, everything is amazing! We certainly had an experience of a lifetime here! It was great and most of all, it had been a long time coming! We missed our chance to celebrate our Anniversary, husbands bday and my bday this year due to me having my exams and all..n Ambong made up for it all! First of, the location, Views from the restaurant (Rimba Restaurant) and the room were to die for, set within the rainforest by the beach, sunset view was amazing! (Especially atop the roof of Rimba Restaurant). Oh and when you come here, u need to note that the resort is situated in a rainforest by the sea, thus its has a few steep hills u’ll need to go through to get to your villas, but fret not! There are drivers with 4wd to bring u anywhere from your villa to restaurant and to few tourist spots near the resort area with no extra charge. Secondly, the Villa, we stayed in villa no.8, which was called Temoyong and it was as the pictures suggested, simply c’est magnifique! I loved it, the pool was huge, overlooking the sea and rainforest, it was nestled in the trees thus was cooling, the room build up was beautiful it pays every detail to your need, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was so unique ans spacious as well, (the toilet was overlooking a tree which the house was built around, and the shower was overlooking the pool and forest and sea). The infinity pool, gosh, i loved basking in the pool and looking up at the trees and then at the sea.. it was truly relaxing and best of all private! Being a muslim lady that’s was a plus, to have the pool all to yourself. Thirdly, the Staff! Talk about Malaysian hospitality! They are the best I’ve seen and ever got to experience (being Malaysian myself, this is big!) ever since we first step into the resort, they have never failed to showcase their utmost best at accommodating to our every needs. From those awesome welcoming drinks, to a detailed explanation and guide of the resort and our villa.as mentioned before we’re in a forest and thus no landlines, so you will be provided with your own villas cellphone that has the main important numbers, which are 1. Driver (call them anytime before midnight and they will chauffeur you to where you need to be or be of any assistance, 2.office number, 3. Spa, 4. Restaurant (u can call to arrange your meals like breakfast at your villa one day before). The restaurant staff were all very friendly and very attentive as well! Not only that... something happened while we were here,... whilst filming the beauty of ambong pool villas, our drone got lost and crashed! It was heart wrenching! But the staff sought to help no matter what and introduced us to PakCik Ros who was also the night guard and now certified Drone rescuer! My husband had an adventure in the forest with Pakcik Ros in search of our crashed drone.(he had went alone first, but to no avail, we slept that night feeling so comfortable in the villa yet devastated as to the fate of our drone— if u cud imagine how that feels), but the next morning after having breakfast in the villa, my husband headed out with pakcik ros on the search and rescue and he almost gave up after 3 hours of searching, but pakcik Ros preservered and urged him to continue (mind you Pakcik Ros is 76yo n in superb health!) and he found our drone!!! Our only regret was not being able to treat him after and I wished we’re could express much more gratitude to him! Truly enjoyed our stay, just for how friendly everyone was, how relaxed it made us (despite the drone drama) and how it gave my hubby an adventure he wont forget! Will definitely promote Ambong Pool Villas to all our friends! And a follow-up stay is bound to happen sometime next year indefinitely!! See u guys and Pakcik Ros soon!
