We recently stayed at Kabalana Villa in Ahangama, Sri Lanka, and it was truly a memorable experience. The villa is situated in a perfect beachfront location, offering beautiful surroundings and the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday.
One of the best things about the property is the thought that has gone into creating multiple spaces to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. From dedicated seating areas by the pool and right next to the beach to several other cosy spots across the property, every corner offers a lovely place to sit back, relax, and soak in the atmosphere.
The rooms were fantastic, exceptionally well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff deserves a special mention for their warmth, helpfulness, and outstanding service. A special thank you to Mr. Charith, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience. His attention, hospitality, and efforts made our stay even more special.
Another highlight was having a dedicated cook at the villa. The flexibility to have freshly prepared meals customised to our taste added tremendous value to the experience and made it feel like a true home away from home.
One small suggestion: Having air-conditioning in the common sitting area would make the villa absolutely perfect, especially during the warmer parts of the day.
Overall, Kabalana Villa is a fantastic property with an unbeatable location, beautiful spaces, comfortable rooms, and a wonderful team. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront villa experience in Ahangama.
