What a superb house in an outstanding location. We were a group of eight—two adult families—and the floorplan worked perfectly, comfortably accommodating everyone’s needs in a wonderfully designed and built property.
The location couldn’t have been better. The Sakka chair lifts were an easy stroll, as was the Rabbit Hole café, along with a great selection of nearby restaurants.
Suthan, our Villa Concierge made our stay in Hakuba effortless. His planning before the trip ensured every part of our stay was seamless which allowed us the truly switch off and enjoy our exclusive holiday from the moment we stepped into the Villa. The ground crew (HHG) were also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the villa stayed clean and well stocked throughout our stay. They also kindly assisted with luggage storage on our final day, which made a big difference.
What truly stays with us, though, is the experience of simply being in the living area—whether for breakfast, drinks, or dinner—looking out through the floor-to-ceiling windows at snow-covered trees. It was nothing short of stunning.
We almost hesitated to write this review because we’d love to keep this place a hidden gem for ourselves—but it deserves the praise. We’re already hoping to secure dates for next year.
