The Country Resort Three Bedroom Forest Chalet

We stayed at the Country Resort in Niseko for 11 nights and had a fantastic experience overall. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well set up, which made it perfect for a longer stay. There was plenty of room to relax, and it felt like a real home away from home. The location was also excellent — just a short drive to Grand Hirafu, making it very convenient for skiing, dining and exploring the area. One of the real highlights was the resort staff. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, helpful and responsive, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. The only small improvement we’d suggest is having some basic pantry supplies available, such as salt, pepper and cooking oil, as this would make self-catering even easier. That said, this was a very minor point and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Country Resort to anyone looking for spacious accommodation, a great location and excellent service in Niseko. We would definitely stay here again.

Very well-equipped and spacious chalet in quiet location not far from the lifts. Friendly check-in and shuttle staff. Road from Hitafu very narrow when snowy, so care needed if driving.
