For a unique stay on the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Italy, check out Villa Cardinale. Almost fairytale-like, this 4 bedroom stone country home is covered in vines and surrounded by sprawling gardens. The property dates back to the 16th century. It’s authentic and traditional and yet it has fabulous modern facilities including wifi, air-conditioning and a private swimming pool in the garden. The villa is furnished with antiques and a traditional Italian kitchen with hand-painted tiles. Staying at Villa Cardinale is truly special, unlike any other place you’ve stayed before ever, guaranteed! Also, it’s perfect for families.
The villa has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It can accommodate groups of 8 guests. There are 2 air-conditioned double rooms and 2 air-conditioned twin rooms and each of them has its own private en-suite bathroom. The master room is furnished with an antique double bed, a writing desk, and a wardrobe closet. The en-suite has a bathtub and a shower.
You will be spending a lot of time outdoors in your private sprawling garden when holidaying at Villa Cardinale. Lush greenery all around, a private plunge pool with poolside lounge beds, a kids play area with a playhouse and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and BBQ, you can easily spend a full day out here in the sunny garden. Families with kids won’t have to worry about entertaining the little ones. The pergola-shaded terrace is wonderful for alfresco dinners at your vacation home. Open a bottle of wine and munch on pizzas and more. Wonderful!
The spacious living room features a traditional stone terracotta floor, natural rock walls, and wood ceiling beams. There are plenty of windows and doors opening up to the villa’s beautiful garden, allowing sunlight to shine in and fresh air to circulate. The sitting lounge area is spacious with multiple comfortable white sofas and armchairs. In the centre of the room stands a solid wood dining table and in the back, there’s the spacious Italian kitchen designed with hand-painted tiles. The fully-equipped kitchen has access to the terrace. For those who can appreciate a good glass of wine, the villa has a wine cellar as well.
Villa Cardinale has friendly staff welcoming you with Majorcan hospitality. Above all, you get to enjoy lots of privacy. There is free wifi available throughout the compound.
Villa Cardinale is located in Southwestern Italy near Sorrento (4 km) on the Amalfi Coast. There are many beautiful beaches waiting to be explored in the area. Sorrento is famous for its historic old town, the limoncello brewed with lemons from the area and excellent Italian coffee. The nearest airport is in Naples (60 km).
