Sitting on the pristine South Coast of Sri Lanka, near historic Galle and the city of Bentota, you will find a hidden sanctuary of luxury called Villa Thuya. To be more precise, the villa is located in the picturesque village of Balapitiya, home to golden beaches, ancient temples and lush cinnamon plantations. The design of this villa is unique and absolutely stunning topped off with chic interiors The sprawling garden is like a hidden sanctuary with a lagoon-like pool just for you and your loved ones to enjoy. The villa has 3 bedrooms and it boasts direct access to the beach. An amazing place for a wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka!
All 3 bedrooms are designed beautifully with white, pearl and golden colours. The rooms are equipped with AC and each has a private en-suite bathroom. The master suite has a sofa, and a flat-screen TV and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with an oversized bathtub.
The outdoor area is just marvelous, surrounded by lush tropical plants and trees and in the heart of the garden sparkles the lagoon-shaped swimming pool with a natural rock boulder in the water just as if you are swimming in the wild and raw tropical nature. The pool has seats in the water as well, great for chilling out with a cocktail in hand with friends and family. The stone sundeck is furnished with bamboo sofas and a coffee table - another great spot for cocktails under tropical skies.
The living area is air-conditioned and the design is all-natural with stone rock walls, teak furniture and full-length glass doors opening up to the garden and pool area. There are chic comfortable sofas and armchairs and the dining area is situated on an elevated timber plateau in the living room. Upstairs, there is more living space to enjoy. The sofa upstairs is perfect for curling up with a good book in air-conditioned comfort. Feeling more tropical? Slide open the glass doors and sit out on the breezy terrace.
The villa has wonderful staff looking after you during your stay. Nothing is too much to ask. The staff can also arrange tours, day trips, transport, a private chef - you name it.
Villa Thuya is located in a quiet village on the southern coast of Sri Lanka with easy access to hotspots such as Galle, Hikkaduwa and endless gorgeous cinnamon plantations. There are plenty of things to do. You can go on a boat safari along the Maadu River, go deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, whale watching and visit turtle sanctuaries and hatcheries. The international airport of Sri Lanka in Colombo is 155 km away from the villa.
