Aroldo is a 3-bedroom apartment in a renowned residential neighborhood that is surrounded by restaurants, museums, shops, and many boutiques. It is located behind the Dome and just a 10-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria and 5-minutes from the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge, a famous landmark of Florence.
The apartment offers everything you need on your holiday – modern amenities and conveniences, a relaxing ambiance, spacious rooms, and a welcoming vibe that will immediately make you feel at home. Modern-day comforts fuse seamlessly with traditional designs, which you will see in the fresco walls, antique décor, and arched doorways. The apartment has three bedrooms, all ensuite. Bedroom 1, which is the master suite, features an antique gilded four-poster double bed, a 3-person divan, a 17th-century chest of drawers, and a large wardrobe. The bathroom has walls made of the finest Italian marble. It also has satellite television. Bedroom 2 is a studio with a large window that looks out to a courtyard. It has a beautiful frescoed ceiling, which makes it truly Italian. It also has an Empire-style chest of drawers and a desk. The bathroom has a bathtub. Bedroom 3 on the mezzanine floor has two single beds. It is separated from the rest of the house, which means, you will get more privacy here. All the three bedrooms are air-conditioned.
This apartment is in high demand because of its premium location and immediate surroundings. It is just behind the San Lorenzo church and very close to the entrance to the Medici Chapels. Many top attractions of the city are an easy walk away. Once you pass through the antique wrought-iron gate, you will reach a hallway that is decorated with 19th-century artwork. From there on, it is a trip into the classical art and heritage of the city. Once the house of a prominent Florentine family, it now welcomes guests who want luxury living in a central location.
The palazzo where the apartment is located was renovated extensively before it started to take in guests, which you will see everywhere in the 300-square-meter interior space. The rooms are decorated with frescos, antique furnishings, beautiful lamps, and precious wall paintings. The entire home is air-conditioned. There is Wi-Fi internet and a wide-screen television for your entertainment. The dining area is majestic. The kitchen has an electric oven, bread maker, microwave, oven, coffee maker, an electric kettle, lemon squeezer, and a toaster.
You and your group will have complete access to everything you find at Aroldo Apartment. The cost of electricity and gas is included. A housekeeper will come to the apartment daily for two hours, except Sunday. Concierge service is also available at an additional cost. Bed linen and towels are changed on arrival. Heating will be at additional cost and there is a parking space only 30 meters away.
Only a 5-minute walk away, you will find many tourist attractions of Florence like the Duomo e Battistero, Cappelle Medicee, Galleria degli Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Museo dell'opera del Duomo, and others. You can reach the train station in 6 minutes. La Giostra, Regina Bistecca, Ora d’Aria, Enoteca Pinchiorri, and Konnubioare all good places for food and drinks.
