This gorgeous 4 bedroom villa is located on the pristine South Coast of Sri Lanka near Koggala and Ahangama Beach and even closer to Koggala Lake.
Villa Mayurana has 4 luxurious bedrooms exuding a colonial air. All 4 bedrooms have modern amenities such as air-conditioning and TVs with international channels but the most eye-catching are the antique four-poster beds. The rooms are carefully designed with traditional art, handwoven textiles and more antique hardwood furniture. Each room has a private en-suite bathroom equipped with rain showers.
The garden is one amazing tropical paradise with ponds and fountains, fantastic views of the cinnamon plantations and 2 fabulous private swimming pools of which one is a 20-meter infinity pool. There is lots of space to enjoy and there are plenty of places where you can relax and listen to the sounds of nature. Try the swinging bench, sit out on the veranda or practice yoga on the lawn - the ambiance is completely tranquil. You can also enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner outdoors at the alfresco dining table on the covered terrace.
The villa is fully encompassed by a covered terrace with antique relax chairs, sitting areas and an alfresco dining table. Inside, there are separate living and dining areas, both designed elegantly and chic with luxurious leather sofas, handmade rugs and antique cabinets. The villa has no lack of old-world-charm! The formal dining room features wonderful views of the garden and pool and it is furnished with a stylish dark wooden 10-seater dining table. Villa Mayurana also boasts a private pampering spa room and a fully-equipped gym.
Villa Mayurana is fully staffed with welcoming people to make your holiday even nicer. Daily housekeeping services, garden and pool maintenance and security guards - it is all part of the package. At additional costs, you can hire a 5-star chef to cook dinner or even host a cooking class. Massage therapists, nannies, a car and driver - nothing is too much to ask. You can also rent bicycles and go explore the surrounding Cinnamon Estate.
The location of Villa Mayurana is pretty fantastic, sitting right next to Koggala Lake and just a short drive from some of Sri Lanka’s best beaches such as Koggala Beach and Ahangama Beach. You can also easily make your way to other famous tourist hot spots such as the historic city of Galle and beach towns such as Mirrissa and Thalpe. The international airport of Colombo is 210 km away.
