The Baan Ya Kha is tropically inspired in its décor of the outside area, with hut-like, down-to-earth settings combined with modern approaches. Five bedrooms, extensive common living space, and an evenly proportioned indoor-outdoor bath can lodge up to 10 guests. For large traveling parties, the adjacent Baan Yai villa can be rented very conveniently.
The five bedrooms have been adequately spaced out over a huge area of three bungalows. The rooms, as well as the common lounging area, are colored alike in cream and pleasant earthy hues to lend that homely and restful environment. ACs and stand fans keep the temperature of the interiors under check.
There are 2 bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, and a bathroom having a divided showering space in the first cottage. The next bungalow houses a washroom and two bedrooms; a king-sized bed in one and two single beds in the other. The third and final bungalow has one bedroom with a master bed and a private bathroom.
The roomy outdoor compound of the Baan Ya Kha draws in most vacationers who lurk around and indulge in the lively vibes. The free-flowing, curvy design of the pool is a unique design that you would get to witness only here. Plus, there are in-pool benches for the ones who neither want to get out of the pool nor dive completely inside it. Vibrantly colored recliner chairs are scattered around the deck along with a hammock where the guests love to sunbathe and doze off. The pool’s depth is kept shallow, thus, making it child-friendly. Also, the water is free from any kind of harsh chemicals. The view of the entire villa at the dusk time is a total winner. The violet illumination of the pool water along with the sundowner is an eye-catching sight.
The entire lightly-hued living arena is the highlight of most social gatherings as it is conceptualized based on an open and airy layout. The L-shaped sofa in the lounge has numerous cushions and the oddly-cut center wooden surface is admirable craftwork. It is closely linked to a fully facilitated open kitchen and has a breakfast counter extending out to incorporate a dining area as well.
Having the necessary local amenities in the vicinity of the Villa is well appreciated by the vacationers. The famous Hin Kong Beach is just a short walk of 150 meters from your stay.
The wide array of restaurants serving varied cuisines can be reached within 10 minutes’ stroll. Italian cuisine is Romanzo Tropicale’s forte with wowing sunset views. The Angels Bay Restaurant is an apt choice if you want a seafront dining. The Belgian Beer Bar is a 6-minute drive from the villa. Its menu offers select Belgian beers and Thai delicacies.
Haad Rin Beach, a 20-25 minute driving distance away, hosts the island’s most famed Full Moon Party and has many eateries and bars to pick from. The Kuan Yin Temple is a culturally-rich place for sightseeing with Wat Phu Khao Noi and Baan Chaloklum, an old-world fishing village.
You can go for brief hiking at the Than Sadet Waterfall National Park, little more than a 30-minute drive away. If you’re planning for a short trip, then head to the Khao Ra, an amazing half-day hiking point, which is a 50-minute drive away from your villa.
