The house has two bathrooms; one is attached to the master bedroom and another one is the common family bathroom.

One should not be fooled by the modest outdoors without glitzy and posh layouts. When the nature is the best designer of the fabulous outdoors with its views of mountains, lakes, uninterrupted fields, there is no further need of artificial embellishments. A pair futon garden chairs and a beanbag is more than enough to enjoy the brilliant sunshine during the day and dreamy stargazing at night.

The indoor area has a quite fluid design. The indoor space primarily consists of living area, dining and kitchen area. There is no solid bifurcation between these areas. A sole kitchen island determines the border between the living area and the kitchen. The island counter serves as the dining space. The living room is dominated by the plush faux leather L-shaped couches. A perfect spot to laze around, the leather couch gives a spectacular view from the large ceiling high windows. These windows are solely responsible for the residents to enjoy the beautiful sunshine from the indoors. The other elements of furniture that adorns the living space are a television and a small coffee table. The kitchen is a simple affair with all the amenities available to cook up a nice and cozy bite. The island counter with its high bar stool seating arrangement provides the perfect opportunity to have a peaceful meal with the family.

Modern on Mackenzie being a budget friendly holiday home does not provide any in-house staff. However, that does not undermine the other services that are readily available in the property. A heat pump for the cold winter nights and an air-conditioner for the hot summer days keep the house pleasant for all the days in the year.
