The centre of town is just a 5-minute walk down the road, home to cafes, restaurants and shops - perfect: you get the best of both worlds!
There is a large private garden with plenty of grassed area for kids to play and run around. The covered terrace also makes a lovely spot to hang-out and have your coffee in the morning, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. A modern gas BBQ is available. If you want to use it, ask your host for a gas bottle. They cost NZ$5. Understated on Hunter comes with a private parking space.

Sit down on one of the modern comfy sofas and watch some telly or curl up with something to read on a lazy hour in the evening. There is a six-seater dining table and an open-plan kitchen with an oven, microwave, coffee press, kettle and more. You got everything you need! The house even has a washing machine.
Staying at this holiday home gives you all the privacy you need. However, you are welcomed warmly by the host Gina who will also be there to answer questions and assist where needed. Do note, there is no wifi available - giving you a ‘real’ holiday from daily life :)
This Twizel Home is located just a 5-minute walk from the shopping centre in the heart of the town. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to check out, too! More importantly, you will have easy access to Aoraki National Park where you can hike up to the summit of Mount Cook. Furthermore, there are so many things to do in this area - great for outdoor sports lovers! Hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, skiing, stand-up paddle, even watching the stars in the night sky is an amazing adventure!
