The Far Pavilion is truly something special! This gorgeous luxury villa in Pinnawala features a breathtaking design and it sits up on a hillrock surrounded by mountains. You can imagine the mountain and valley views are stunningly beautiful. The Far Pavilion is part of a working village and on-site, you can press your own organic coconut oil for massages, you can even milk a cow to get the freshest milk you’ve ever tasted. This is a special place indeed! This 2-bedroom villa was inspired by the 20th-century novel by M.M Kaye also named The Far Pavilion and if you book this villa, you can be pretty sure it’ll be one of the most extraordinary places you’ll ever stay in your life.
The Far Pavilion houses only 2 bedrooms. Such as huge villa and large private bedrooms just for you to enjoy - you have landed in some sort of paradise! The bedrooms feature hardwood floors, chic antique four-poster beds, golden-lined wallpaper and glass walls overlooking the valleys. It is amazing! The en-suite bathrooms are spacious as well and the master suite boasts a large soaking bathtub.
The outdoor area is yet another highlight - home to an amazing lagoon-like infinity pool (and again it is those valley views taking your breath away once again). There are poolside lounge beds and outdoor sofa areas to sit and listen to the sounds of nature.
The Far Pavilion features a stunning design with full-length glass windows all around to maximize the valley and mountain views. The interiors are a blend of Indian and Western art and furniture and you get to enjoy an abundance of space. Beautiful handmade persian rugs, antique daybeds, vintage lamps and real leather armchairs - everything is designed to meet the highest standard of luxury living. There are multiple living areas and cozy nooks to sit with tea, read a book or simply gaze at the views around you. The villa even boasts an office space with a iMac computer. The living pavilion is fully air-conditioned.
The people working on the farm are kindhearted and friendly. You can be sure of attentive services and lots of friendly smiles and you can help out on the farm as well. The villa also has private stables and yes, you can go horse riding!
The Far Pavilion is located in Pinnawala, a beautiful area in the highlands of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala is famous for the ethical elephant sanctuary. On-site, you can learn about farming and make your own cheese and coconut oil. If you’re not into farming, you can go horse riding or visit the elephant sanctuary. There are plenty of things to explore in the surrounding area!
