A traditional Mallorcan farmhouse in every sense with its rustic stone-built architecture and archway as among its distinctive features, Villa El Jardin is a gorgeous retreat set out to impress. Located just minutes away from the Cala San Vicente beach and cradled at the foot of the spectacular Tramuntana mountains, this is an accommodation that checks all the boxes of guests. Villa El Jardin is set over 2 storeys with 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 6 pax, and comes with an expansive, well-manicured garden teeming with flowers, shrubs and orange trees. Indoors, the villa is built with a classy take that continues on the traditional theme with wooden exposed beams on the ceiling, tiled flooring and clean, minimalist furniture that is a mishmash of wooden and contemporary fittings and upholstery.
Set on the upper floor, the 3 bedrooms of Villa El Jardin are configured respectively in 1 double bedding for the master and twin beddings for the 2 other rooms. All 3 rooms are bursting with personality and vividity of colors, sharing the same feature of wooden ceiling beams, cute wooden framed windows to let in light and fresh air, as well as wooden headrests for the beds. The 2 twin rooms have their respective single seater sofas as a signature furniture piece to add on to the thoughtful upholstery and furnishing. The 3 bathrooms for guests are of the same design with its single basin, large framed mirrors, and ceramic wall tiles, while one of it comes with an elongated bathtub for some soul pampering.
The outdoor of the villa is a pretty sight made up of a partially sheltered dining terrace, a barbeque facility and private pool. As a large patch of grassy and well-manicured lawn surrounds different parts of the outdoor while mature trees bedeck it, the other parts are mostly filled with stone tiles to lend the space distinct character and conjure a rustic Mallorcan countryside feel. The shaded terrace has been beautifully furnished with outdoor armchairs with a pergola also just adjoining this area for guests to enjoy a chilled-out session under the warm climate. The L-shaped swimming pool with its azure waters is certainly enticing and measures 10m X 5m, accompanied by a stone BBQ to the other side of the patio, complete with a dining table and chairs. Slightly hidden away within a small conclave with stone-slab walls is a charming corner comprising wooden furniture of chairs and rectangular coffee table that beckons for more great conversations and socializing.
The 2-storey villa is homey and comforting thanks to the decor and furnishings that project a cosy vibe. With simple tiled flooring consistently throughout all of its spaces, the large hallway is the first to greet guests upon entering from the main doors. As the usual sofas adorn this area, the dining hallcan be seen adjoining behind a slightly partitioned wall with its glass top table and high chairs for a lovely dining affair. To the left is where guests will find a purpose-built kitchen with traditional elements including a smaller wooden dining table and chairs, a walk-in pantry, and an adjacent utility room. As stairs lead up to the first floor, guests will be pleased to find another sitting lounge area with comfortable couches, a coffee table and storage drawers to boot.
The villa is properly sanitized and disinfected for the safety of all guests during this entire pandemic situation. Meanwhile, free air conditioning is provided from 2pm to 4pm and from 8pm to 8am daily. Guests will also have access to free Wifi Internet, while mid-stay cleanings are included, with bed linens and fresh towels changed every 7 days for guests. For guests who need cot, crib or baby high chairs for their young ones, they need no worry as these are available upon request from the villa’s staff.
Villa El Jardin boasts of a great location especially as beach goers get to head to the unspoilt Cala San Vicente beach that is about 5 minutes away. The Pollensa town centre is just about 2km in accessibility, and staying here at the villa means guests will also be rewarded with the experience of viewing the panoramic vistas of the Tramuntana mountain range that reminds guests of nature at its best.
