Built with 2 comfortable and breezy bedrooms, a small family or group of 4 pax will find Villa Pontarro an ideal choice of stay when travelling to the charming old town of Pollensa. Decked out in contemporary and chic design as the look of choice, Villa Pontarro also boasts of an outdoor rectangular pool with large terraces in a countryside setting. The dramatic entry begins with a gated driveway leading up to the parking lot, before the shaded terrace and main house open up to guests. Though within 100 sq meters of space, the villa is built with lots of open spaces to appreciate and bask under the pleasant Morrocan climate, as with lovely indoors to also seek relaxation in.
The 2 bedrooms at Villa Pontarro are furnished in similar layout and design, though one is a double bed and the other a twin bedding. The decor is minimalistic with some elements of wood in the side tables, headrest and framed windows, while flooring is mostly tiled. A rattan-made 1-seater couch is parked on both bedrooms, which are also equipped with a full modern bathroom with a bathtub and the other being a shower room yet with no less toiletries for guests.
The outdoor kicks off with flair, starting with a gated driveway that leads into the parking grounds of the villa. After the couple of steps, the covered terrace unveils itself that is strewn with outdoor furniture comfortable enough to last guests throughout the day. From this covered terrace, guests will find a further open terrace and onwards to the rectangular saltwater pool that also features Roman steps in it. Besides the gated driveway, the pool here is also gated, especially for the safety of any young ones. As lovely sunbeds line the side, there is also a brick-built barbeque spot from which guests can enjoy evening barbeques and alfresco dining under the pleasant Mallorcan weather.
As the main door swings open, the interior of Villa Pontarro is characterized by wooden beam ceilings and several arches that make this property truly Mallorcan in style. With large tiled flooring, the open lounge and dining room also feature charming stone walls, juxtaposed against modern furnishings that include comfortable fabric sofas, a contemporary dining set of table and chairs, and a breakfast bar by the brand new and spacious kitchen area. Well-equipped, it is a fusion of classical and contemporary, while guests who need a whiff of the outdoors can certainly open up the lounge doors that lead straight out to the covered terrace outdoors.
Safety is clearly a priority for Villa Pontarro, and besides being gated, it is also sanitized and disinfected to ensure that guests’ health is not compromised in this current circumstances. There is free air conditioning provided from 2pm to 4pm and 8pm to 8am daily, while mid-stay cleanings are also included. Should guests require a cot, crib or baby high chair for use of their toddlers, just give a holler to the staff and they will be on hand to provide the amenity.
Villa Pontarro is located less than 1.5km away from the old town of Pollensa, while the shops of Eroski Pollensa are also under 2km. Golf enthusiasts can also take a swing or two at the nearby Pollensa Golf Course that is 4.4km away, while the Cala Carbo - Cala San Vicente rock beach can also be reached in about 7km.
