Casa Sa Riba is a modern luxury villa in a historic location on the island of Mallorca. Muro in the northeast was a town on the money lenders in ancient times, which means, it was a place of wealth and abundance. You will see the same abundance in this property, in its spacious and lavish interior, modern comforts, private swimming pool, barbecue, beautifully fenced garden, elegant décor, and chic corners. Clearly, the villa’s owners have designed the property with a lot of care and affection. It is impeccably maintained and perfect for a group of 6 guests who want to holiday in style.
Muro literally means ‘wall’. Villa Casa Sa Riba is perched on a small hilltop in front of this wall. You will see huge open fields, agricultural land, and groves that are dotted with hills and valleys in front. You can spend your entire vacation just gazing at the horizon and relaxing. Or you can make the house your base to explore the surrounding countryside, learn about the local history, and appreciate the architecture. The beautiful beachside resort of Playa del Muro is also close.
The house has three bedrooms, all with large double beds. There is also a cozy sofa/bed in the loft that can sleep one more guest. Bedroom #1 on the ground floor opens to the garden through a wide door – it is perfect for nature lovers who want to stay close to the greenery and guests with mobility issues who don’t want to climb up. All the bedrooms have a chic, modern furnishing. They are spacious and airy, thanks to the large windows. There are sitting areas, mirrors, and large wardrobes where you can store everything easily.
This rental property has three bathrooms, all with rainwater showers. Two of them are inside and the third is outside.
The most striking feature of the outdoor is the stunning view you will get from the terrace. Everything, including its private swimming pool, garden, and the pool terrace leads up to it. You can easily spend many hours here relaxing, reading a book, or just looking up at the hills, valleys, and trees. The pool with a shallow end looks very inviting. Take a dip whenever you want or lay down on a poolside lounger.
Another striking feature is the historic tower on the terrace next to the pool. You will find the barbecue inside this tower. You can even climb up for an even better spectacular view. The entire northern Mallorca will be right in front of your eyes.
The ground-floor living room is large and spacious. Its tall ceiling allows the Mediterranean breeze to sweep through the room, which keeps it naturally airy. You can spend your evening here with family or friends watching television and catching up. A sliding glass door occupies an entire wall, so you are never far from the outdoor and the gorgeous views. A winding staircase leads to the upper level, where there is a smaller lounging space.
The fully-equipped kitchen sits next to the ground floor living room. It has a refrigerator, freezer, oven, toaster, coffee machine, and many other appliances. The villa’s formal dining area is also located here. Of course, you can also have food outside on the terrace.
Villa Casa Sa Riba is like your own house… home away from home. There is no staff in the house but it is packed with everything you will need on your holiday. The cost of electricity, final cleaning, and tourist tax are all included with your stay in this rental property. A baby high chair and baby cot/crib is also available for you to use in case you need it. Anything extra comes at an additional cost.
The town of Muro has many beautifully laid-out narrow streets, sandstone buildings, and an old church. You will also find many shops and restaurants here. The stunning Playa del Muro beach, which is less than 10 minutes by car, has pristine white sand and clear, shallow water.
