You may not want to venture out if you are looking for a peaceful and laid-back holiday. But the villa is still close to many popular tourist attractions. The coastal resort town of Can Picafort is just a 15-minute drive away. The town has a 1.5-kilometer beach with beautiful turquoise water. Around the villa, you will find many cycling routes and hiking trails. Villa Can Bassa can be ideal for your holiday, whether you want to just relax or make it your base to enjoy the many attractions of Mallorca.
This magnificent villa features 4 expansive and well-appointed bedrooms that can easily sleep up to 8 guests. Baby cots/cribs are available for guests who are traveling with family. Bedroom #1 is ensuite and has a large double bed. Its beautiful stone wall and wooden-beamed ceiling provide a nice, traditional touch, which goes well with the surrounding countryside. Bedroom #2 is also ensuite and has a double bed. It has traditional Mallorcan terracotta flooring. Bedroom #3 blends traditional and modern elements very well. Bedroom #4 has twin beds made from locally sourced wood.
The house has four bathrooms – three with showers and one with a bathtub.
The highlight of Villa Can Bassa is its gorgeous outdoor that is spread over 390 square meter plot, especially its beautiful courtyard. On all four sides, you will see the building’s gorgeous stone façade, which makes it look as if it is straight from a fairy tale. At the center is a swimming pool with a shallow end. There is a small poolside lawn and a covered balcony lounging and dining areas where you will find an impressive wooden table. The courtyard also has the villa’s barbecue, perfect for inviting family and friends for a great afternoon BBQ soiree.
There is a terrace too with a second outdoor lounging area. You will have fantastic views of the pool below and the surrounding areas of Muro from here.
The Medieval courtyard of this rental property is impressive. Its interior is also sure to take your breath away. Room after room has gorgeous stone walls and beamed-wooden ceilings that can make you feel as if you have gone back magically a hundred years or more. The living room has a plush sofa where you can sit comfortably and watch television to optimize your indoor time. The staircase area with the chandelier is also impressive.
There are two dining areas and a third beside the pool. The first has a long table, while the second is smaller. It is in the villa’s kitchen that has all the appliances you need to prepare a meal.
All the rooms in Villa Can Bassa are fully air-conditioned. You can use the swimming pool, barbecue, and the kitchen with all the appliances you find there. Tableware and glassware are provided. The price includes internet, pool/beach towels, and bed linen. Tourist tax is also included. You can ask for a baby high chair and baby cot without any extra charge.
The Muro Center bus station is only 300 meters away. The train station is also close. The closest restaurant is Raro by Elena Puigserver, which is less than a 10 minutes’ walk from this property. The Can Toni Muro supermarket is also close. You can easily visit the Can Picafort beach, Parc Natural de s´Albufera nature reserve, and the Hidropark water park.
