A cosy cottage-like structure is the one-room Villa Roqueta which oozes the charm of the Mallorcan countryside. This private and independent villa is fitting for a couple, but it is no less amazing in its architecture, design and layout within its 75 sq meters of space. Set in a location that is close to the sandy beaches of Alcudia and Puerta Pollensa, guests will be spoilt for choice on whether to spend their time down at the sea, or simply lazing around the pretty terraces and spacious gardens and lawns flooded by lots of sunlight. Entrance into the property is simply led in by a short driveway which opens into the main indoors, crafted to perfection for an idyllic vacation. Villa Roqueta is situated about 70km from the Palma De Mallorca Airport.
With only one walled bedroom for Villa Roqueta, the double bed configuration comes with fitted wardrobes and exudes a homey, comfortable ambiance with its minimalist decor. Next to it is a well-designed and tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower. What’s unique though, is the mezzanine floor, accessible by a flight of floating steps that carry flair and from at the top of the staircase is where it is tucked along the hallway alley with a cute window opening to let in the breeze.
Just outside the villa is a spacious garden with lawn and generous covered terraces, from which guests can enjoy the lovely surroundings and views. In the center is a delightful rectangular pool that measures 8m X 4m and is surrounded by a stone-laid patio and more lawn. Sunbeds strewn the sides of the pool for guests to fully immerse the warmth of the sun, while along the covered terraces, are simple dining table and chairs, with another set of outdoor lounge furniture and coffee table, for guests to make use of in this idyllic stay.
The indoors of Villa Roqueta is sweet and welcoming, which has also been thoughtfully renovated and furnished with lots of statement antique pieces. The entrance embraces guests with its gorgeous and elegant antique wooden doors, which open up to the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Despite being a relatively small cottage-like villa for 3 persons max, no effort is spared in making this place as cozy, detailed in furnishing and great for guests within its 2-storey layout. What’s also wonderful is the adjoining kitchen that is fully-equipped with dishwasher, microwave and a completely separate pantry, with the washing machine available on an outbuilding.
The villa has been properly disinfected and sanitised for the safety of all guests in light of the current global situation. Free air conditioning is provided for guests from 2pm to 4pm and 8pm to 8am daily. Mid-stay cleanings are included, and guests will also have complimentary Internet access to get online. Parking is on the open grounds of the villa, and guests with toddlers can always request for cot, crib or baby high chairs which are all available.
Although in a rural setting, there is no shortage of places to head to from your base at Villa Roqueta. It is located just 2km from the Pollensa Golf Course, which is a bonus for golf lovers, and just over 5km into the Pollensa town centre, where shops and restaurants abound. And not to be missed are the sandy beaches of Alcudia and Puerta Pollensa to complete your list of must-sees and dos.
