The master bedroom centres around a graceful king-sized bed, majestically draped in mosquito nets hanging from its four posters. You can choose whether you’d like the second bedroom laid out as a double or a single room, as it features two twin beds which can be joined together to create a king-size. For that extra touch of luxury, both rooms are cooled by air-conditioning and have their own state-of-the-art ensuite bathroom.

Step through the slatted wooden doors which lead from your bedroom into the garden and you’ll find yourself in a tropical paradise. Your private courtyard shines emerald green with jungle plants and soft lawns, as you’re fully enclosed by tall walls and trees. At the centre of the garden is the glistening swimming pool, which you can arrange to be surrounded by a pool fence so any young travellers can enjoy the garden safely. The pool is lined with comfortable sun loungers and is bookended on one side by a traditional bale.

If there’s one thing that could possibly draw you away from the tropical heaven of your garden, it’s Villa Saur Empat’s luxurious interiors. Overlooking the garden through floor-to-ceiling windows, which can be fully retracted to allow warm breezes to drift inside, is the open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen. The living area is dominated by a large, L-shaped sofa: the best seat in the house to enjoy the company of your fellow travellers under the cool air-conditioning. Elsewhere in the room you’ll find the fully-equipped kitchen, which offers everything that you need to prepare a delicious meal to be served around the six-seater dining table. Finally, if you’d like to enjoy a quiet night in, the media room is decked out with comfortable seating and a widescreen TV with a DVD player.
