Villa Meru is a 4-bedroom villa, great for families and also perfect for a group of friends wanting to explore ancient temples and dense tropical jungle like Indiana Jones and Lara Croft. The villa can accommodate up to 10 guests. Villa Meru is also great for yoga or meditation retreats.
This gorgeous teak wooden luxury villa in Siem Reap houses 3 bedrooms and 1 separate cottage. In total, the estate can welcome groups of 10 guests comfortably. All 4 bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with queen-size double beds. The spacious light-filled master room is fitted with 2 double beds draped in mosquito nets, great for families. All 4 rooms feature rustic interiors designs ruled by teak wood and gorgeous antique furniture. Every room has a private en-suite bathroom equipped with a rain shower.
The stunning private tropical garden is planted with fruit trees and sugar palms. The ambience is utterly peaceful despite the villa’s close proximity to the buzzing city centre in Siem Reap. You can wander around the garden to get into the “Zen” state of mind. There are ancient trees, handcrafted stone statues of mystical figures and there are plenty of outdoor seating spots to relax, drinking a healthy juice or a cup of coffee and enjoying the moment. Up for a daytime snooze to the sound of the wind? Go relax in the hammock, shaded by lush tropic greenery and trees. The villa also has a garden shala where you can see the sunrise and practice yoga.
The pergola-shaded living room is open-plan, surrounded by the rainforest-like garden. There are sofas and daybeds, there is a dining area and there is a kitchen window with a bar and high chairs to sit and have drinks with friends and family. All furniture is handcrafted from local timbers and other natural materials, perfectly sustainable, eco-friendly and always in harmony with the surroundings. Villa Meru also features a very spacious kitchen equipped with everything you need and more.
Villa Meru comes with an amazing team of staff staying onsite at the separate staff quarters. The villa and the entire property around it are well-maintained at all times and the staff can arrange just about anything from delicious healthy food to transport into the town. Ask them anything - they’ll be happy to assist! Food, drinks and alcoholic consumptions are all available at the property at affordable prices. The location of Villa Meru is remote - it is a nature retreat, after all. Around the villa, you will find the impressive and enchanting Angkor Wat Temple Complex, rural villages and nature. Hop on a bicycle and go explore. You can take 2 to 3 days only exploring Angkor Wat on your bicycle, it is amazing! The centre of Siem Reap is bursting with liveliness: shops cafes, restaurants, bars, markets and it is easy to reach by car.
