The hills in North West Lucca certainly come alive with the splendor and magnificence of Villa Le Pergole, set in an expansive estate that produces local wines and other specialities like honey and extra virgin olive oil. As it is shrouded by stunning countryside views that teem with olive groves and fruit trees, guests are bestowed with the privilege of complimentary wine tasting sessions and an exclusive tour around the estate. Thanks to restoration works carried out for the villa, guests will be in awe with the excellent interiors that feature beamed ceilings and cotto floors, which showcase authentic Tuscan design, in a part-contemporary, part-classic setting that serves to inspire. Designed with 5 bedrooms for 10 guests, Villa Le Pergole consists of 2 buildings namely the main house and its dependence, both of which look out to a large and fenced-up garden. Whether you choose to be in the panoramic outdoors replete with vistas of the valley, forested slopes and vineyards, or the indoors with its sophisticated and tasteful decor and furniture, guests can be sure to call this villa a haven of their own.
The 5 bedrooms built for this villa are all assigned with their own private ensuite bathrooms too. Sleeping 10 guests in total, the rooms are located between the ground and 1st floor of the main residence, and also on the 1st floor of the dependence building. Starting with the main residence, the ground floor houses 1 double bedroom while its upstairs consists of 2 double bedrooms that are equipped with their ensuite bathrooms of a bath and separate shower as well as a twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that features a shower. The final double bedroom that fits 2 pax is over at the dependence unit that is fitted with a king-sized bed, air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom with shower.
The exterior grounds are ensconced within stunning countryside scenes made up of olive groves and fruit trees, and strategically perched here on an expansive estate that produces local red and white wines, honey and extra virgin olive oil. The large and fenced garden consists of a lovely pergola that makes it an ideal summer spot for long dining and wining days under the bright blue skies. A private swimming pool of 11m X 5m completes the outdoor features, and not to be missed is also a beautiful built-in barbeque at the dependence unit that is much loved by all guests alike.
Convene within the attractive indoors that are authentically furnished in true Tuscan tradition featuring wooden beamed ceilings and cotto flooring, and which has been restored with very cosy and welcoming furniture that brings out the warmth, breezy vibe and elegance of the interiors. The kitchen and dining areas of the main house are equipped with a fireplace, while the sitting room over at the dependence building has a kitchenette that opens out to the verandah - with both indoor settings being charming, special and simply inviting.
Guests may like to note that there is cleaning service of 6 hours per week included in their stay. Additionally, there is also WiFi Internet access for them to connect to, and the best part of all is that they can enjoy complimentary wine tasting sessions and a tour of the estate vineyard that also includes the purchase of produces at the estate office, by the virtue of their stay here.
Located on the hills of north-west Lucca, guests will be pleased to note that this villa has the ideal spot for the exploration of this area of the Tuscan region. With Lucca located just 5km away and Versilia coast just a short driving distance too, guests can also get to Florence, Pisa and various other sites of attraction with much ease. Shops and restaurants can be found within a 2km radius while the Lucca Stazione railway station is conveniently located within 10km for guests who would prefer to hop on a public transportation.
