Located in the lush Magra Valley, Villa Il Nido is the perfect getaway for a family or extended family vacation. Situated on 5000 square metres of private land, hidden among olive groves and fruit trees, guests can enjoy the beautiful views from the comfort of the large swimming pool or shaded patio. Inside, the house has been beautifully renovated using high quality, traditional material, to bring the guests a typical Italian country-side experience, without compromising on the comforts of modern living.
Villa Il Nido offers five bedrooms and can sleep a maximum of 10 guests. All bedrooms are decorated in a tasteful traditional style, with stylish furniture and wall art and cosy wooden ceiling beams, and are fitted with air conditioning. Guests will find two double bedrooms on the ground floor with queen-sized beds and a twin room upstairs. The master suite is located on the first floor. It features a queen-sized bed and has access to a private terrace with shaded outdoor dining and lounging areas and beautiful mountain views.

Take a stroll among the grounds, and take in the fragrant air of the wildflowers and olive groves of the Magra Valley. Guests can enjoy the 8.5x4.5 metre pool from which they can cool down from the Mediterranean sun and beautiful panoramic views of the mountains, with Monti’s Castle as a charming focal point. End the day with an Italian meal and a glass of local wine at the al fresco dining area on your very own shaded patio.
The entire villa is stylishly designed in a traditional style, with terracotta floor tiles and wooden ceiling beams. On the ground floor, guests can lounge in the comfortable living room with alarge sofa and armchair, TV and wood-burning stove. Through a large archway, creating a natural flow through the villa is the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stove, oven, fridge/freezer and high-quality coffee machine. The upstairs hallway overlooks the living room, giving this entire centre of the villa a tall, airy feel. On this floor, guests will find two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and two extra beds for additional travellers. Guests can enjoy beautiful views from all windows and access the patio directly from the living room.
When you choose to stay at Villa, essentials including linens and towels, A/C, WiFi and garden maintenance are covered in the booking price. For an additional fee, guests can arrange villa pre-stocking or food and firewood, cooking and cleaning services and airport transfers for a calm, relaxing vacation. Guests looking to have an activity-filled getaway may also like to organise a yacht cruise in Cinque Terre or cooking lessons in your very own kitchen.
Villa Il Nido is perfectly located for guests who want to explore the popular regions of Tuscany and Liguria while keeping their base in a secluded, quiet location. The nearest town is Aulla, where visitors will find all day-to-day essentials, such as a supermarket, shops, restaurants and a bank. There are many charming small villages and towns in the
Magra valley, often with restaurants or charming churches which are also worth exploring if you want to get a peek at the typical Tuscan village lifestyle. Half an hour away, sun-seekers will find the pristine beaches at Lerici and Bossa di Magra, and along the coast, the UNESCO listed fishing villages of the Cinque Terre, which are famous for their boat trips, beautiful architecture and cultural highlights.
