Nestled at the intersection of Florence, Pisa, and Siena, Villa La Lestra is a recently restored 19th-century farmhouse that emulates ancient Italian architecture with chestnut wooden beams and terracoota floors. With four bedrooms and five baths, Villa La Lestra comfortably accommodates 8+3 guests for a wonderful holiday. The villa is only 1km away from the quaint village of Montelopio that features stunning olive groves, vines, and wheat fields.
While nature abounds, the villa itself is equipped with modern amenities like a fully-equipped kitchen, satellite TV, and amenities that cater to guests with reduced mobility as well. Outdoor fun includes a swimming pool, a rustic hut for BBQ, and even a Roman Spa. Villa La Lestra has a beautiful dovecote with a 360-degree panoramic view of the valley. Villa Lestra is home to four bedrooms distributed over the ground and first floor. The first is a double bedroom that can be converted into a twin room with an ensuite. Upstairs you have the remaining bedrooms - two double bedrooms that can be converted into triplets and an additional bedroom. Each bedroom features a fireplace, rustic, old-world interiors and ensuite bathroom with showers. Head to the dovecote to enjoy a panoramic view of the Tuscan hills.
A gorgeous swimming pool keeping with the luxurious Villa Lestra takes center stage. Amidst lush and well-maintained gardens, the pool is where you can spend hours splashing around. The terracotta pool deck features lounge chairs while the terrace has outdoor seating. Enjoy a breakfast or BBQ outdoors in the lush, green gardens.
Featuring red brick columns, pastel yellow walls, and teal curtains, the beautiful living room will transport you to another world. The comfortable sofas placed by the fireplace offer a respite from the sun. The room is spacious to accommodate you and your family members. You can even walk straight onto the terrace from the glass doors. In the corner, you have a flat-screen TV and some magazines if you want to spend some time indoors.
Across the sitting area, you will find the dining area with an all-white dining table and chairs for a summery, cheerful vibe. Glass doors lead you to the garden and pool area. You have a fully-equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances but in a homely, familiar space featuring an island counter.

An annex houses a BBQ while you have a massage area with hydromassage, A local chef available at your villa for your delicious meals accompanied by local wines. The Ruatti family is happy to invite its guests to a Pizza Party enjoying it together and having fun as a group, every morning the baker passes with fresh bakery products. Upon request, it is possible to have guided tours to the most beautiful cities of art, or for a very particular experience, aerial trips.
While the villa itself features expansive gardens for leisurely walks accompanied by native trees and endemic plants, you can easily walk to the nearest restaurant for authentic Tuscan food. There are restaurants, shops, and necessary amenities within walking distance from the villa, 20 km to Volterra, 29km to San Gimignano, and 48 km to Pisa. Visit nearby historical towns to make the most of your time in Central Italy. In the surrounding countryside you can see many charming villages and farms, some of them tumbledown – testimony of the past rural civilization. Approximately 1/5 km. from the farmhouse is the little Medieval village of Montelopio, accessible by a country road that winds in perfect harmony with the landscape, among vineyards and olive groves, allowing visitors to savor the the marvels of the place. On arriving in the village, you may settle at the tables of the characteristic Perbacco (bar/delicatessen) where you can savor typical dishes or enjoy an aperitif in complete peace.
For those who want to be in direct contact with nature, there are beautiful natural trekking and mountain bike routes, and for the more athletic wishing to rediscover the joy of adventure, there are facilities just 5 km from the agritourism site for horseback riding along the attractive paths of our hills. For those who would like to indulge in the care of their own bodies, 12 kilometres from our company there is the exclusive thermal centre of Casciana Terme, where it is possible to benefit from the full range (thermal cures, wellbeing centre, cosmetic line etc).
