Villa Shamballa

The spacious solitary bedroom in Villa Shamballa's makes for a honeymooner's haven in the midst of the tranquil aura of Ubud. The entire upper floor is dedicated to the bedroom space which is airy and large. The beds face the mountains and the sky directly over the half wall/fence on the balcony. The bedroom is as simple as one could be, with a large king-sized bed with a lavish mattress covered with beautiful white linen, plush pillows and a four-poster style canopy above. The bedroom has a sitting area with comfortable sofas, and also a few armchairs when you feel like watching the sunset over the mountains.

The stunning infinity pool overlooking the greenery below takes up the most of villa exterior. The rest of the area is made of the open terrace and the pool deck. The simplicity and the silence offered by the outdoor area of the villa makes it an ideal location to practice yoga, connect to your spirituality or simply read your favorite book while lounging in the pool deck. At one end of the pool deck, there is a small summer house with a table and a chair for writers to be inspired, or simply for anybody who would like to get some work done while enjoying the view. In the other end of the villa, there are sunbeds and a small seating area which is great to spend time with your loved ones, especially in the evenings.

The guests have a large living area to themselves on the ground floor of the villa. The main sitting space has 2 comfortable sofas facing a flat screen tv where you can catch both local and international tv channels, and your favorite movies. The sitting area is next to the infinity pool and overlooks to the forest at a distance. The rustic and vintage furniture are made of weathered wood and are very smooth and pleasant to the eye against the white walls and many white cushions on the sofa. The roof of the villa is made of wood and has the obvious touches of unique traditional Balinese architecture. There are two dining areas to enjoy your meals. One in the living room and one outside next to the pool in an almost alfresco setting making for an ideal romantic candle-lit dinner.

Villa Shamballa has a staff of 3, who are well trained to attend to all the services that will make your stay happy and comfortable. If you have any meal preferences you can inform them to your in-house cook, who will make a delicious daily breakfast for you during your stay which is included in your price per night. If you have a little one traveling with you, you can ask for babysitting services for an extra cost as well.
