Mod-chic and luxurious are just 2 superlatives to describe Alpinarc Chalet Hakuba, and it is easy to see why. This expansive 6-bedroom chalet is futuristic in its architectural design features Japanase onsen style bath fit up to four people with undisturbed views of Hakuba's mountains. The Chalet stands out in its juxtaposition against other nondescript buildings and houses in this neighborhood of Central Hakuba in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. All around, panoramic mountain views of Happo-One and Japan’s Alps 3 major peaks are reasons enough to book your stay at this accommodation that is cleverly ensconced within such natural surroundings. The chalet’s strategic positioning is a pull factor given its close proximity to major tourist destination Echoland , yet with an exclusivity unmatched by the quiet street, it is located on. Echoland itself has the biggest concentration of restaurants and bars in one area, and guests of Alpinarc Chalet need only a minute to get there from the Echoland Basecamp Bus Terminal.The chalet can accommodate 16 up to 19 guests at a time.
The chalet can be configured into one large space comprising 6 bedrooms , or if guests so prefer, they can opt for the alternative configuration of 2 separate spaces - with 4 bedrooms in one and 2 bedrooms in the other . The 6-bedroom chalet would be equipped with 6 toilets, 3 bathrooms and 1 shower - all of which are tasteful in the Japanese minimalist layout that permeates throughout. As for the separate configuration of 4 + 2 bedrooms, it will be fitted with 3.5 bathrooms and 1.5 bathrooms respectively, while connected downstairs through an internal passage with double-locked doors. Alpinarc Chalet can sleep up to 16 guests in twin or king bed sizes, and also bunk beds. Guests can even increase their number of pax with additional futons that the chalet can flexibly cater for. A maid’s quarters is generously included inside this chalet, while hair dryers are provided in every bedroom.
The chalet is equipped with heated parking lot for 4 cars and sidewalk for guests to shield against the cold outdoors. The breathtaking landscape and mountain views can be admired from the large window panels without guests having to step outside if the temperatures are a little less mild for them.
An open living hall concept encapsulates the design of Alpinarc Chalet, which has been fitted with parquet flooring for its entire space. A cosy and warm ambiance embrace guests with its clever mix of wood elements, and contemporary furnishing and furniture are strewn around the corners . What is interesting for guests is that the fully-equipped kitchen (including oven, dishwasher, rice cooker, wine refrigerator, hot pot, and kettle), dining hall, dry room and laundry room all come in pairs each . Alpinarc has 2 living rooms, kitchens, and dining rooms. There is the main living room, kitchen, and dining room, perfect for entertaining large groups and also has a second living room, kitchen and dining room perfect for hosting small intimate groups or groups of kids. The guests will be entertained by the 65-inch television connected to Netflix in both living room, or with just simply the unbeatable external views through the floor-to-ceiling glass panels . For laundry, guests can rest assured of a washing machine and dryer .
There is a full concierge service for guests that look into all of their needs. Light cleaning including rubbish removal is also provided. Guests can also request for meals and wine delivery service, as well as other ski and snowboard-related to lesson and reservation, arrival and departure transportation. Underfloor heating is provided throughout to ensure the optimum comfort for guests. A baby cot, high chair and safety gates are available for families travelling with little ones.
The Alpinarc Chalet Habuka is located in Echo Land, and about 100m away to the Hakuba Base Camp. Other nearby attractions include the Shiroumamie Museum as well as the Laforet Hakuba Museum of Art dedicated to artist Marc Chagal. An array of F&B outlets like Sarugaku, Hie, and Campfire Sushi can be found nearby which promises to tantalise the dining experience and taste buds of guests.
