The Crusoe House

With four bedrooms, The Crusoe House can accommodate eight people with ease. The rustic interiors are defined by canopied, queen-sized beds and bamboo walls decorated with intricate, hand-painted ceramics. The warm lighting and natural ambiance ensures you have a restful sleep. To make good on its promise of being modern even in a traditional setting, the villa has air-conditioned bedrooms. The four bedrooms share three well-designed, open-air bathrooms that allow you to shower amidst lush flora under the blue skies. There is one bathroom with a freestanding bathtub for tranquil baths complete with fragrant bubbles.

The outdoors is simply breathtaking with the ocean only 20-metres away from you, a distance covered entirely in mere seconds. The swimming pool has been designed to resemble a natural lagoon with plastered boundaries and a sandy pool deck. A bale stands with a thatched roof and a swinging hammock for a restful slumber in the middle of the afternoon or any time of the day. There is ample room for you to relax beside the ocean, lounge on the deck chairs or walk along the sandy ground for ultimate island living.

In true cabana fashion, this traditional home is the powerhouse of all-things natural with woven bamboo and plastered walls, rustic furniture and furnishings and ambient lighting in abundance. From pots and pans, wooden chairs and local textiles, jute lamps and wooden frameworks, wicker-style furnishings to an open-sided layout, the villa living pavilion is testament to simple, pastoral lifestyle of the island. As you relax on the plush sofa laden with umpteen cushions, you have the ocean view all to yourselves.

The slanted alang-alang and bamboo ceiling like the eaves of the roof shade you from the sun and yet allow abundant sunlight indoors. The villa has a bar counter with seating so you can enjoy a chilled drink while enjoying the view. The dining area and kitchen are fully-equipped and modern for you to prepare full, seven-course meals for yourselves. There is an exquisite water dispenser with a wicker cover to keep the water cool. The splashback is designed with vibrant tiles while the breakfast bar features a bright-red runner. It is accents such as these that make Crusoe House truly a unique experience.

Even on this secluded island, far from the crowds, a dedicated and attentive team is on hand to care for the villa and cater to your needs. The staff are warm and welcoming, with your comfort and well-being as their top priority. Housekeeping and pool maintenance are all provided. Bicycles are available at the villa for exploring the surroundings at your leisure; at additional charge.
