Hakuba Slopeside Chalet is an amazing 7-bedroom alpine home located in a small enclave above Tsugaike Ski Gondola. Yes indeed, you have direct access to the ski fields from your backdoor patio and the views all around this charming chalet are breathtaking! Hakuba Slopeside Chalet can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people, making it a great holiday home for a large family or a big group of friends on a ski adventure in Japan. The chalet has been fully renovated in the autumn of 2016 and it features really cozy and comfortable hang-out places to enjoy some well-deserved apres-ski downtime. Think a bar area with football table, comfortable sofas, a TV and Playstation 3 - it’s perfect!
Hakuba Slopeside Chalet houses 7 bedrooms divided over 3 floors and there are 5 deluxe bathrooms with hot showers and in some cases also bathtubs to soak in at the end of the day. Some of the bedrooms are fitted with double beds, other with twins that easily convert to double beds and there are bunk beds, too (great for the kids!). Above all, all of the bedrooms have a warm ambiance for those cold winter nights - you’ll love it! (everyone will!).
The chalet is surrounded by stunning nature. From your private outdoor patio, you can ski down to Tsugaike Gondola. In the evening, you can sit out on the patio with a winter sweater on, a cup of hot tea and gaze at the breathtaking night sky with thousands of twinkling stars. It’s magic!
Hakuba Slopeside Chalet features modern and comfortable living areas, creating a wonderful apres-ski environment for everyone. The timber floor in the living room adds a warm touch and there is a gas fireplace, too, adding an extra cozy ambiance on a winter night. Relax on the sofas, watch a movie on the oversized flat-screen TV or play a game on the Playstation 3 - you deserved it after spending some hours on the fields! There is a large wooden dining table and a modern, state-of-the-art kitchen with professional kitchen appliances and a bar with 4 high chairs. Hakuba Slopeside Chalet also boasts a separate media lounge, a games room with a football table and an office space. Guests are free to make use of the washing and drying machines.
The English-speaking managers of Hakuba Slopeside Chalet stay nearby in a separate building so you can be sure there is always someone around to assist where needed. An 7-seater car is available and there are two free parking places for the car. There is free wifi available throughout the compound.
The chalet features jaw-dropping views of valleys and snow-peaked mountains - it is stunning! Hakuba is mostly famous for the Winter Olympic Games in 1998 and it is also known as the ‘Alpine Skiing Capital of Japan’. The village of Hakuba is located just outside of the city of Nagano and this lovely ski resort area of Japan is also easily accessible from Tokio. Go skiing, snowboarding and visit the hot springs - this is a winter paradise!
