With six bedrooms and 456 square metres, this three storey luxury chalet located in Hirafu’s East Village represents the ideal accommodation for an extended family or large group. Annabel has been designed and built to provide a luxurious retreat, that offers comfort, relaxation, all mod cons and stunning views over Mt Yotei. The chalet has parking, complimentary high speed wireless internet and a fully equipped western kitchen. Features include a foosball table, pool table, home theatre room and sauna, so the only problem you will have is choosing what to do first.
Bedrooms one and two are on the lower floor. They both have two single beds that can be pushed together to form a king size bed, and wardrobes. They share a separate WC and bathroom which leads onto the sauna room. Bedroom three is on the middle floor. It has two single beds that can be joined to form a king size bed. It also has its own en suite bathroom.
The last three bedrooms are on the upper floor. Bedroom four has two single beds that can be pushed together to easily form a king size bed. It has an en suite bathroom that includes a full size bath. Bedroom five is a mirror image, also having two single beds that can be made into a king size bed, and an en suite with its own full size bath. Finally there is the master bedroom. It has two single beds that can be joined together to form a king size bed as well as a wardrobe. The star highlight however is in the en suite bathroom. It has a Japanese style wooden bath tub or Ofuro, which is not just beautiful to look at, but the height of decadent luxury.
Leading off the dining room there is a large balcony complete with its own set of chairs, from which to enjoy the magnificent view. Annabel is surrounded by its own grounds with mature trees that add to its privacy.
The communal areas are to be found on the lower two floors of this incredible family ski chalet. The lower floor is where the private garage is located. That is also where one of the entrances into Annabel is, the ski entrance which leads straight to the drying room. As well as the sauna, there is also the laundry room and two storage rooms. Taking up a large section of the floor however is the uber impressive media room with its oversized settees and home theatre set up. Just around the corner there’s a full-size pool table, a countertop bar and kitchenette.
The middle floor has another entrance to the chalet, the genkan, ideal for those not in ski or wet clothing. The floor has a WC and powder room and is where the living and dining areas are as well as the kitchen. The living room is simply stunning. It has a double-height vaulted ceiling and wooden flooring. The gas fire with stylish traditional stone surround not just looks great but ensures the large interiors are a cosy temperature. The furniture which includes large sofas and reading chairs are stylish and comfortable.
The large dining table is alongside huge windows providing diners with wonderful views of Mount Yotei and the Grand Hirafu ski slopes and make any meal a special occasion. The chalet has a large fully equipped kitchen with a full range of modern high-end appliances. Last but certainly not least is the kids play room with its full size foosball table, bean bags and large flat-screen TV.
Guests can make free use of the special concierge service completely free of charge. They can also hire a child’s sleeping cot and safety gate.
There is plenty to see and do within close proximity of this villa, including the world-famous hot spring or onsen. The immediate neighborhood is tranquil, but it is not far at all before you are in the vibrant après ski area, with its wide selection of bars and restaurants. These include Graubunden, Bistro Re Arbor and Izakaya Restaurant.
