Big Valley 1 is a modern chalet perfect for a large family gathering or ski holiday. Ideally located in Lower Hirafu just opposite the ski shuttle bus stop, this luxury ski chalet boasts 252 square metres of floor space over three storeys, and features four bedrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen, cozy gas fireplace and a large laundry and separate ski equipment drying room. A chalet is a fantastic place for families with children, with its media room, bunk beds, and outdoor BBQ. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout this large, very social villa. Big Valley 1 is in a complex with Big Valley 2 and 3.
With its four large bedrooms, Big Valley 1 can easily accommodate 8 people. Bedroom one is located on the basement level. It has a bunk bed and an adjoining media room comprised of a very large sofa and a flat-screen TV. There is a bathroom on the basement floor. The other three bedrooms are on the upper floor of the chalet. Bedroom two has two single beds that can be joined together to make a king-size bed. As well as a wardrobe it has an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Large windows offer views over the beautiful Niseko countryside.

Big Valley 1 has a large balcony accessed via the living room which has its own Weber BBQ. The chalet is set off from the road on an elevated bank giving better views but also added privacy.
The lower floor of the chalet, as well as the bedroom and media room, has a drying room and a well-equipped laundry room. The ground or middle level is where you enter the chalet, through the traditional genkan. A private garage is on this floor and a stand-alone WC and powder room. It is also where you will find the living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen.
The living room is both large and cozy, with its wooden floors, plush rugs, oversized settee, TV and gas fireplace with a stone surround. Its large windows let in natural light and allow guests to look out onto the stunning panoramic views of the Hirafu Valley.
The dining room has a large square dining table that easily seats eight. The kitchen island has more seating, and the kitchen itself has a gas cooker top, an oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. The chalet has a state-of-the-art entertainment system with free Wi-Fi and is decorated throughout with contemporary furnishings and original artworks.
A free concierge service is available for all guests to help with everything from taxi and restaurant reservations to booking a babysitter. All local phone calls made from Big Valley 1 are free. Guests with children can hire a sleeping cot (suitable for children up to the age of two), a high chair and a safety gate.
Big Valley 1 could not be more convenient for Hirafu’s famous ski slopes. The free shuttle buses for both Grand Hirafu and Hanazono are located just outside the chalet. Being in Lower Hirafu, it is also within very easy reach of the area’s only onsen or hot spring, and the many bars and restaurants that make this such a popular location for après ski. These include The Baddies Niseko, Powder Room Niseko, and Gyu+.
