If you are looking for a winter getaway in the heart of snow-laden Niseko, Hokkaido, then look no further than Kitanishi 2 with its contemporary design, Japanese minimalism and understated sophistication. The house provides a stunning view of the stately peak of Mt. Yotei. Only 100-metres away from the shuttle stop, the house is conveniently situated only a short distance from the bustling Hirafu Village. You get to enjoy the quiet of the house while also being close to the main streets. Kitanishi 2 is a three-bedroom property which can be rented alongside neighbouring Kitanishi 3 if you wish to accommodate more people.
Kitanishi 2 has three bedrooms that can easily accommodate eight guests. Two bedrooms are designed with double beds that can be converted to twin beds while the third has bunk beds for four, perfect for families travelling with children. This homely abode provides all the comforts you need to settle in and make it yours for the duration of your stay.
Large windows allow ample views of the snowy landscape so you can wake up feeling refreshed and energised. With two bathrooms, you can get ready with ease. The bathrooms are fitted with walk-in showers and other modern amenities for your convenience.
A few minutes’ walk from the house will take you into the village where you have plenty of local restaurants and intriguing shops to explore. Enjoy a bite to eat or simply enjoy the scenic views along Niseko’s majestic landscape. While the forests are packed under freshly-fallen, powdery snow, the family can even enjoy the nearby sky slopes that have options for both beginners and experts. Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee while enjoying the fresh, cool air as you gaze at Mt. Yotei.

From the comfortable couches to the crackling fireplace, this warm and cosy space is great for some cherished family-time. For all the late nights, the living area has an Apple TV and on-demand English channels. With free Wi-Fi, you can picture yourself relaxing by the warm fire with some Netflix Originals. If you wish, on a sunnier day you can even slide open the glass doors to bask in the fresh air.
To ensure that guests can enjoy a meal together, the eight-seater dining table is the ideal spot for quality time. You can make use of the fully-equipped, western kitchen to prepare a MasterChef-inspired meal to be relished by all. The kitchen is decked out in all its finery with a breakfast bar and additional seating, modern appliances and a coffee machine for your daily fix.

Niseko has so much to offer especially when it’s snowed in because that is when you can enjoy the magic of skiing. Hirafu and Hanazono offer skiing schools and some of the best slopes that you can scale. There are many Michelin star restaurants in Niseko for delicious Japanese food.
