This luxury five bedroom chalet combines modern convenience with traditional Japanese décor and artwork. Old Man Creek A (OMC A), along with its sister chalet OMC B, boasts 276 square metres, and has three storeys. Ideally suited for a large family or group of friends, this ski chalet has a fully equipped modern kitchen, dry room, laundry, large Satellite TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi. OMC A is also just a short walk to the free shuttle bus service. To top it all, every room enjoys stunning views of either the Grand Hirafu ski area or the iconic Mount Yotei. This is truly Niseko ski accommodation at its finest.
OMC A has five king bedrooms. All are beautifully decorated with Japanese artwork, and they are spread over all three floors, giving guests that extra piece of privacy. The second floor or top level is home to the two master bedrooms, and they take up almost the entire top floor of the property. Bedroom four has two single beds that can be joined into a king-size bed, a desk, modern lounge chair, large wardrobe, and a very impressive en suite bathroom. Guests of this room can enjoy stunning views of the Grand Hirafu ski area without even getting out of bed. Bedroom five is at the other end of the chalet. It too has two single beds that can easily be made into a king-size bed. It also has a desk, stylish easy chair, large wardrobe, and en suite bathroom. The views from this room are of the magnificent Mount Yotei.
Moving down to the middle floor, you will find bedroom two and three, which are on a slightly elevated section, away from the communal areas. Bedroom three has two single beds that can easily be joined to make a king-size bed. It shares a separate WC and bathroom with bedroom two, which also has two single beds which guests can easily make into a king-size bed if they prefer.
Bedroom one is located on the ground or lower floor. Once again it has stunning local artwork adorning its walls and is carpeted. The en suite bathroom has a shower, and the room itself has a wardrobe and two single beds that can be joined together to make a king-size bed. Guests of this bedroom have direct access to the media room.
The chalet has off-street parking as well as the indoor garage. There is a covered porchway and also a balcony accessed via the lounge area on the middle floor giving guests wonderful views over the Hirafu ski slopes.
OMC A is accessed via the traditional genkan or entrance room. This leads to the dry room and ski storage area. The ground floor also has a private secure garage, a powder room and WC and the media room. This carpeted oasis features comfy sofas and chairs, a large flat-screen TV with access to satellite channels and Netflix as well as a DVD player and music system.
The large, open plan dining and living room areas are on the middle or first floor of the ski chalet. Old Man Creek A is designed to be a social, luxury chalet, and this is the heart of that idea. The comfortable settees surround the beautiful stone-clad gas fire, while all around the large windows provide guests with views of the stunning Hirafu scenery, no matter what time of day or night. The large glass-topped dining table in the adjoining dining area comfortably seats eight guests, and its lighting can be controlled separately, giving guests free range to change the mood as they see fit.
OMC A has a fully fitted modern kitchen whose features include a breakfast bar that seats three, a gas hob and a full-size oven. The middle floor is also where you will find the laundry, and it has a separate powder room and WC. As well as the bedrooms, the upper floor has a storage area.
Guests with children can hire a cot (suitable for children up to 2 years of age), high chair and safety gate.
This ski chalet is within easy walking distance of the free ski shuttle bus, making it incredibly convenient for your family ski holiday. The Niseko Adventure Centre is also just a short walk away. As you would expect from a place known for its après ski as much as its world-class powder, there are numerous bars and restaurants nearby. These include Sessa, Niseko Ramen Kazahana and Jojo’s.
