On the snowy slopes at the top of Hirafu Village in the ski paradise Niseko, a luxurious accommodation known as Skye Niseko dominates the landscape. The sprawling property boasts of elegant rooms with some of the most expansive views of the mountainous terrain in which the majestic Mt Yotei is within close sight . The 2-bedroom suite spans a space of between 80 - 90 sqm featuring premier interior design with exquisite finishing in stone and wood. By staying at Skye Niseko, guests will invariably enjoy the true ski-in ski-out privilege that grants access to Niseko’s world-famous snow at Niseko Grand Hirafu. The suite can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests , and the property is located about 166km from New Chitose Airport. Skye Niseko was also recently awarded with the Top 3 World’s Best New Ski Hotels for 2019 in just its first year of operation, in recognition of its luxury suites and services in this widely-regarded Asia’s premier ski location.
The chalet’s five king bedrooms are divided between all three floors for extra privacy. Bedroom one is on the lower or ground floor. It is carpeted and like all of OMC B features traditional artwork on its walls. It has two single beds that can be made to form a king bed. The bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with shower, and it also has direct access to the media room.
Bedroom two is on the first or middle floor. It has two single beds that can easily be joined to make a king-size bed. It shares a separate WC and bathroom with bedroom three, which also has two single beds that can join to form a king-size bed.
The second or top storey is where the two master bedrooms are, designed specifically to take in their own unique views. They take up the entire top floor of the chalet, apart from a storage area and landing. Bedroom four has two single beds that can be joined into a king-size bed, a desk, lounge chair, wardrobe, and large en suite bathroom. The room enjoys stunning views of the Grand Hirafu ski area. At the other end of the chalet is bedroom five. It too has two single beds that can be joined to form a king-size bed, desk, easy chair, wardrobe, and large en suite bathroom. The guests of this room overlook Mount Yotei.
OMC B has off street parking besides the private garage. The covered porch gives shelter to guests when entering, and there is a balcony that leads from the living and dining area on the middle floor.
The traditional genkan entrance room is on the ground floor and leads via a heated stone floor way directly to the convenient dry room and ski storage area. At the end of the hall is the media room. With its plush carpets and comfy sofas, this is the perfect place to watch the large satellite TV. It also comes with a DVD player and a music system. The private secure garage is also on the ground level, as is a powder room and WC.
The middle floor is where you will find the main communal areas. These include a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, making Old Man Creek B a very social chalet, really giving you and your friends and family the chance to spend some quality time together in stunning surroundings. The lounge area features comfortable sofas around a gas fire with traditional stone surround, but it will be hard to take your eyes off the views through the large picture windows.
The dining area has a large glass-topped dining table that seats eight guests and has its own lighting so guests can control the ambience. The adjacent kitchen has an island/breakfast bar with seating for three and is fully equipped with gas hobs and full-sized oven. Up a couple of steps are the laundry, bathroom and WC and the bedrooms.
For an additional charge, guests can make use of a cot, high chair and safety gate.
There is much to do outside of your room and Skye Niseko, be it in winter or summer. The world-class snow during winter months means guests can look forward to amazing skiing, or huddling down to the heart of Hirafu Village with just a short walk or shuttle ride to soak in the bustling and vibrant atmosphere within the centre, as Skye Niseko is located just next to the Grand Hirafu area. The accommodation is also a 15-minute drive away from central Kutchan, which is the area around the main train station. During summer, guests can seek more information about some action-packed water rafting on the Shiribetsu River, go on gentle hikes through lush green countryside, or take day trips out on four-wheels or two. A host of in-house outlets can also be found at Skye Niseko that promises to keep guests happy throughout their stay. The Ryko Spa is where guests can indulge in some pampering and beauty treatments, as well as Hokkaido’s only meditation and float tank. There is also a private gym for guests to do their routine workouts and exercises.
