Wind down after a wild day by lounging on the sofa, watching a movie on your Smart TV or you could try your hand at cooking up world-famous Japanese dishes in your fully-equipped kitchen. And all the while you’ll be taken care of by the housekeepers, concierge and security team to make sure that your stay runs smoothly.
Each day in the penthouse begins and ends in one of the apartments two luxury bedrooms. Each designed in a chic, modern style, and boasting stunning views through floor-to-ceiling windows, this truly is contemporary Alpine living done right. No matter which room you call home, you’ll wake up each morning in a plush double bed, fitted with the highest quality mattress, linens and pillows. For your utmost comfort and privacy, each room also has its own ensuite bathroom. While the two main bedrooms can sleep a total of four guests, there is also some additional sleeping space on either a futon or sofa bed, so the apartment can accommodate a maximum of six travellers.

Meanwhile, the group’s main culinary enthusiast can head to the fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, whether they’ll find the full range of appliances and equipment that they need to prepare everything from delicate local dishes to much-loved home comforts.
As part of the deluxe Setsumon complex, the Ski View Penthouse has access to a wide range of amenities and services which will ensure that your holiday is comfortable, secure and memorable. From the housekeeping team who’ll provide cleaning services every two days to the dedicated concierge, you’ll never have to lift a finger during your stay. Those visiting for the local winter sports facilities will be pleased to hear the building also has its very own ski equipment storage.
The Setsumon building is well-located in the sought-after ski town of Hirafu Village in southern Hokkaido. This area is celebrated by winter sports lovers for its reliable snowfall and excellent skiing pistes serviced by 13 lifts and gondolas. Off the trails, the town also has a lively bar and restaurant scene as well as an art gallery where you can see works by local artists.
