Located in the Niseko United ski area, this area of Southern Hokkaido is renowned among winter sports lovers for its consistent seasonal snowfall and its 22 excellent ski trails catering to all levels of competence and confidence. Off the slopes, the town offers a variety of bars and restaurants as well as an art gallery displaying works from local artists.
