Culinary enthusiasts will be delighted to hear that the apartment features a fully-equipped modern kitchen which offers everything that you need to experiment with delicious Japanese cuisine. Finally, after a home-cooked meal served in your mountain-view dining room, head back to one of the two spacious bedrooms, and recharge for the next day under the soft sheets of your luxurious double bed.
Expertly designed in cool, neutral tones and fitted with carefully selected, luxurious furnishings, it’s impossible to not feel completely at ease as you step into either of the two bedrooms at Terrazze Yotei Deluxe 2. Both of the bedrooms centre around a gorgeous double bed, topped with high-quality pillows and crisp linens, from which you can enjoy a moment of peace as you watch a movie on your own wall-mounted TV. The master bedroom is also ensuite and features a cosy seating area with a sofa and coffee table: the perfect place to begin each morning in a fluffy dressing gown with a cup of matcha tea.
Step out through the front doors of the Terrazze complex and you’ll find yourself standing on pleasant tree-lined streets, set against the dramatic backdrop of snow capped Mount Yotei. If you’d like to enjoy some time out in nature, enjoying the bracing mountain breezes, take a walk to the Hirafukogen Central Park which is just a couple of streets away.
It’s easy to see why the Terrazze complex was nominated for the World’s Best Ski Chalet in 2015. From the moment you enter the Terrazze Yotei Deluxe 2, you’ll be taken aback by the clean, open layout, complemented by superb views of the picture-perfect Mount Yotei. The main room is a semi-open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen masterfully arranged with half walls and dividers to facilitate both privacy and socialisation. After a long day on the ski slopes, what could be better than a relaxing night in? Curl up in front of the widescreen Smart TV on the plush B&B sofas, while the open-firewarms your feet. When it comes time for dinner, choose between delicious Japanese cuisine or your favourite comfort foods prepared in your fully-equipped kitchen, which offers both European and Japanese-style appliances. End the evening around the six-seater dinner table, laughing, chatting and reflecting on the day, as the stars twinkle above snow capped peaks behind the picture-frame windows.
As the most exclusive address in Hirafu Village, the Terrazze building offers its guests a variety of services and amenities, including a security intercom and dedicated concierge. Those planning on enjoying the excellent local ski slopes will be pleased to discover that the building has its own ski and boot drying room where you can leave your equipment during the evenings.
