Skiers, snowboarders, hikers or mountain climbers have long made the snowy mountains of Niseko their beloved mecca, and Trailside Chalet offers just about the best place to stay for those seeking to explore the beautiful Niseko.
This stand-alone modern chalet is located in Hirafu Kabayama area, just a stone’s throw away from the famed Lupicia patisserie where renowned pastries from the best chef in the region can be found. Guests need only walk 75m to get to the nearest ski shuttle bus located near the Niseko United Kita Kabayama stop to get to their skiing destination, while the nearest chair lift is only 10-12 minutes walk away.
TheTrailside Chalet is the perfect accommodation for a cozy family or a small group of friends . The 1 Bedroom chalet is spacious and done in minimalist chic style contains 4 beds, while the loft space boasts of 2-3 futon beds. 1 toilet, 1 shower, complete the ensemble.
Outside the Trailside Chalet, lies the expansive landscape of Niseko. Closest to the chalet is the Hirafu village, one out of the four main villages in the area. Step outside the door and you will be inundated with the otherworldly beauty of Niseko - its wilderness, mountains, agricultural spots and countryside will awe even the most jaded travelers. Located on the island of Hokkaido, Niseko is also famous for seafood, dairy products and powder-fine snow rarely found anywhere else in the world. After securing your Trailside Chalet accommodation, you're free to explore all the wonders and beauty of the Niseko countryside or the many activities offered at the Niseko Ski Lodge. Private ski lessons (half-day and full-day) are offered, with up to 4 guests per instructor. Mt. Yotei hike is something everyone should consider - the scenic hike offers otherworldly views while skiing into the mountain crater is an activity all skiers hope to boast about. Backcountry guiding access via lifts is also offered, as guests can traverse through the gates in Niseko, Kiroro, Rusutsu, and Niseko Moiwa conveniently.
With all the wonders and beauty of wintertime in Niseko, one would be surprised that travelers would throng the countryside during summertime. If skiing and frolicking in the snow is not your thing, you may want to book your Trailside Chalet in the summertime when wondrous festivals are in abundance as the myriad of flora is in full bloom.
The living space in thechalet is generously spacious, with ample space to lounge in after a tiring day exploring the village and mountains. The fully-equipped kitchen features a coffee maker, microwave toaster and adequate amenities for guests to cook their own meals should they miss a taste of home.
Stairs fencing is available for families with young toddlers to prevent unwanted accidents in the chalet, while ample household supplies ensure an uninterrupted and comfortable stay. A powerful washing machine can be found indoors, ensuring guests have clean laundry at all times.
