Yuki Drift Chalet is a luxurious, design-forward 6-bedroom holiday rental in Kabayama, just outside the buzz of Hirafu. It feels calm and private, with snowy woodland views framed by oversized windows and clean-lined architecture that suits Niseko perfectly.
Across two levels, the chalet balances together-time and space to spread out, with a bright double-height living area and practical zones for ski gear and laundry. The overall mood is quietly luxurious, modern, and easy to settle into from day one.
The bedrooms at Yuki Drift Chalet are refreshingly uncluttered, with large windows, pale wood floors, and blackout curtains that help everyone sleep in after a big night in Hirafu. Most rooms are set up with king beds that can be turned to twin beds. For big groups or families, the bunk room is a practical win, giving kids their own space without taking away comfort. It is also handy for mixed groups where not everyone wants a king bed.
Three ground-floor bedrooms offer easy access to the private onsen, while upstairs, two bedrooms and a bunk room feature elevated views of Niseko’s natural landscape, with glimpses of Mount Yotei on clear days.
Most importantly, the home is designed for real holiday flow: ensuite-style bathrooms and smart separation between rooms help mornings stay calm, even with a full house.
Outside, the setting does it's specialty. Yuki Drift Chalet sits among snowy trees in Kabayama, giving the property a sense of privacy that feels removed from the main roads, while still being very close to Hirafu.
The architecture makes the most of this, with floor-to-ceiling glazing that pulls the winter landscape into everyday moments, from morning coffee to an early night on the sofa. Snowbanks right up to the windows sound dramatic, but in practice it creates a cosy, insulated feeling indoors.
There is also a cleared driveway and entry, keeping arrivals and departures straightforward in peak winter conditions. Also, guest can enjoy the covered garage for up to two cars, so there will be no days with clearing snows from your car. The garage even comes with electric car charger for the guest convenience.
The heart of the chalet is the double-height living room, bright in the day and reassuringly cocooned at night, with generous sofas positioned for long conversations and slow recovery after skiing. Those tall windows are not just for show, they make even a quiet day indoors feel special.
The open-plan kitchen is built around a wide island with bar stools, so whoever is cooking is still part of the group. It is the kind of layout that naturally turns into shared breakfasts, quick lunches between runs, and relaxed pre-dinner drinks.
Throughout the home, the design leans modern and minimal, with clean finishes and plenty of space for bags, layers, and ski gear to stay out of the way.
Yuki Drift Chalet is set up for an independent stay with hotel-like comfort, including well-planned practical spaces such as ski storage with heated boot racks and a laundry area that makes longer winter trips much easier. The bathrooms also stand out, with soaking tubs and large showers that feel made for warming up properly after the cold.
For everything else, our Villa Finder Concierge team is on hand to smooth out the details before you arrive and during your stay. We can help organise airport transfers, local transport, ski and snowboard rentals, and lessons, so the group can spend more time on the mountain and less time coordinating plans.
The result is a stay that feels easy, well-supported, and well paced, even for first-time Niseko travellers.
Kabayama is known for its quiet, residential feel, which makes coming home feel genuinely restful after the energy of Hirafu. You are close enough to dip into the action for meals and nightlife, then retreat to a calmer base for sleep and slow mornings.
For skiing, the main focus is access to the lifts and the village hubs around Hirafu that is just a 5-minutes drive, where you will find a strong mix of rentals, ski schools, and plenty of dining options. Even if your group splits up, it is an easy area to manage day-to-day plans.
When it is time to eat out, Hirafu’s restaurant scene is the natural go-to, while the chalet’s generous kitchen makes staying in feel just as tempting on storm days.
The Villa Finder Concierge team takes care of guest experiences! We are your personal assistants on the ground and help you with anything and everything from the moment you book with us, at no extra charge.
