Nestled amidst the lush green rice fields in Kerobokan, lies the charming Little Mannao — a four bedroom villa that combines luxurious living with traditional Balinese warmth, fully serviced with a private chef, BBQ nights and a full meal menu, plus board games, pool tennis and a floating bean bag for families and groups who want to have fun together. Its location in a quiet lane makes it a perfect escape from the crowds in more urban locations. Guests get to enjoy the peace and quiet of Little Mannao while being a stone's throw away from popular tourist attractions. Batubelig Beach, Seminyak and Canggu can all be reached within 15 minutes by car. With its Joglo style roofs, Little Mannao is a perfect summer escape into island style living. The villa can be booked either as a three or four bedroom residence and is a perfect rental choice for both families or friends travelling together.
The four bedrooms of Little Mannao are tastefully designed with a seamless blend of modern aesthetics and Balinese design sentiments. The master suite has sweeping views of the swimming pool and has a king sized bed. The room has an attached en suite with a shower alcove and a sunken bathtub. Adjacent to the master bedroom is an interconnected bedroom ideal for families travelling with infants. This multi-purpose room can be used as a children's room with 2 single beds or an adult's room by pushing the 2 single beds together into a kingsize bed.
The third and fourth bedrooms are located in separate pavilions and have an identical layout. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, a sofa bed which is suitable for 2 children or 1 adult (at an extra fee), air conditioning and en suite bathrooms equipped with all required amenities. Therefore, the third and fourth bedroom can host up to 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children each.
The outdoors of Little Mannao are a great place for relaxation. A 11-metre long well maintained swimming pool is the star attraction of this villa. With a wall of attractive green foliage on one side and sun-deck chairs on the other, the guests can enjoy a beautiful tropical experience without even leaving the villa if they want. Grab the pool tennis bats for a game or drift on the floating bean bag for some proper poolside fun. Another added attraction is the poolside gazebo.
Little Mannao has inviting living areas designed with Balinese elements. The main pavilion has two dining areas. With its wide double doors, open floor plan and traditional Joglo inspired structure, the living areas blend in modern and traditional design sensibilities very effortlessly. The openness of the indoor lounges make them a great place to relax and unwind after a swim in the pool or a day trip to the tourist spots — or settle in with the villa's board games for a rainy afternoon or lazy evening.
A fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining area is stocked with refrigerators, oven, utensils, cutlery and stove-top. Hence you are in luck if you want to whip up a quick snack.
Little Mannao boasts of an extremely courteous staff. The regular staff consists of a housekeeper, the gardener, the pool attendant and security service. Meals are a highlight here — the resident chef prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner from an à la carte menu, charged per item, including a BBQ night grilled fresh by the chef and a floating breakfast for a special morning. Moreover, the guests can also request the services of a babysitter, a chauffeur, a laundry assistant and a spa therapist if required. The villa also arranges for a scooter and a car on rent. Thus, the guests can easily avail conveyance for nearby tourist spots.
Although surrounded by the beautiful paddy fields of Kerobokan, guests can easily drive to either of Bali's liveliest towns. In Seminyak, head over to the Eat Street for a taste of authentic Balinese cuisine — Mama San is a great choice for families. A stroll by the Seminyak beaches and a stint in the many different clubs like La Plancha, Potato Head and Ku de ta will be a perfect addition to any Balinese vacation — Potato Head in particular welcomes kids with its own family-friendly menu and open lawn to run around on.
Just as close is Canggu, with its own laid-back, family-friendly dining scene. Finns Beach Club has two dedicated kid-friendly pools and a gelato kiosk, while Milk & Madu in Berawa is a local family favourite.
