This Villa was selected for it 4 separate bedrooms and pool to suit an adult family of 6 and was ideal in providing privacy and space. we were treated with friendliness and accommodating staff who organized breakfast each day and dinner if requested. Over our 6 nights we chose to eat at 2 of the nearby clifftop retreats serving excellent local dishes. We had one very good dinner at the villa and for the purpose of 2 birthday dinners went further field to 2 excellent local waterfront restaurants. The Villa was a 10 minute walk down steps to the surf beach and if you wanted refreshments the "Lucky Fish" was good value. All in all it was an excellent choice of accommodation, very traditional decor and settings. "Hero" the caretaker and his family were always helpful, happy to arrange massages, drinks and adventures up to Ubud and taxi to local restaurants when required. 9/10 for a great stay.

Amazing villa! Staff was friendly, villa is spacious with a great pool and lovely balinese decoration. Really well located if you want to enjoy Uluwatu. (Near dreamland beach that is one of my favourite beach in Bali). Breakfast included was varied and freshly cooked. Driver provided was really nice as well. Only advise is to better order delivery than ask for chef as price difference is quite substancial. I 100% recommend this villa and will come back myself for sure.

stayed at Villa Dedaren with a group of friends and their families from 15th February 2018 to 18th February 2018 From 15th February 2018 to 18th February 2018

We loved Dedaren's outside space, wonderfully quiet garden with many trees, flowers, the pool with deck house nearby to rest from the sun. Lounge area was amazing and staff very friendly. Each room was charming, very different in terms of light, decoration, some more traditional, some more modern. One tip is to pop by in the supermarket on the way if your kids fancy something specific for breakfast of the grown-ups a beer! Otherwise Mu is right next door! Check the tide which makes a big difference on the beach size down the cliffs. We had a great time and enjoyed our surfing lessons at Balangan. We highly recommend Dedaren.

A fantastic experience. As of the first moment the entire family was charmed with the villa. The staff did everything to comfort us as much as possible. The cooking was great, and served with care. In short: to recommend to everyone without hesitation.

Take a look inside Villa Dedaren

Villa Dedaren is a cluster of about five pavilions illustrating traditional Balinese architecture – with it's prominent Joglo style tiled roofs – and shabby chic. Spacious interiors are appointed with mostly antique and intricate, weathered and woven wood furnishings and fixtures, as well as classic, comfortable pieces. At the same time, amenities are distinctive of hotel and resort grade – for all-out delight and enjoyment of each and every guest. Villa Dedaren, truly, hands to you a stay that simulates privileged, ancestral Balinese living with a quaint, old-fashioned charm.

Villa Dedaren is located in Uluwatu. Walking distance from the villa is Bingin Beach – one of Bali’s world-class surfing spots especially for advanced surfers – where you can spend the day swimming and beachcombing. On a separate day trip, tour Jimbaran and stop by Jenggala Keramic for nice presents and souvenirs. You’ll certainly be starving after all that shopping, so try out the fresh and delicious seafood at Rock Bar, Finns, PJs and Balique. Move on to Pura Luhur Uluwatu for a performance of the traditional dance Kecak, as well as for the postcard-perfect ocean views.
